Who: Lisbeth as Irene Nesser and you!
When: Friday, May 18th, early afternoon
Where: Right outside Phoenix Wright's offices
Summary: Lisbeth can't stand being in the office with everyone coughing and throwing up. She ducks outside for a quick cigarette break.
Warnings: No language! Because Irene doesn't curse :3
After Lisbeth finished the work she'd received over an hour ago, she decided she needed a cigarette break. The office was filled with sick people and she didn't know what was going on. The usually silent office was disturbed by coughing, sniffling, and the occasional vomiting. This whole flu outbreak was strange. She wasn't the most picture perfect being for perfect health - she lived solely on ramen, soda, and cigarettes. So surely she would have caught whatever was going around, but she didn't.
And while her identity as Irene Nesser was the exact opposite of her - silky blonde hair, no sign of tattoos or piercings anywhere, and dressed in beautiful professional clothes - she couldn't give up her smoking habit. Thankfully, it wasn't out of the ordinary in the office as she often took cigarette breaks with a few of her co-workers. But she was alone outside the building that afternoon, exhaling smoke into the air.

He hadn't been paying her any mind, at first. People always smoked outside of office buildings, and not everyone was deathly ill even if practically everyone was. But after Yosuke had ignored the young woman for a minute, he couldn't help giving her a curious glance. She really didn't seem sick at all. Huh. And she was kind of cute.
On any ordinary day, he'd probably try a bit harder to flirt. But the only opening line he could come up with at the moment was "got another one?"

"Sure," she said, holding it out to him. She then reached into her blazer again and pulled out her lighter.

Yosuke leaned forward and took the lighter, flicking it to a few stutters and hiccoughs before it finally lit. When it did, he touched the cigarette to it and breathed in.
Oh, FUCK. Gods. Ow. He choked, miserably. Aw, man. He couldn't stop. Couldn't even apologize. Suddenly everything was just a struggle for oxygen, and oh, shit, his lungs. Ow...

"You don't inhale on your first time," she said. "Don't you know that?"
no subject
"Sorry." Wheeze, heave, gasp. Damn it, no one was ever going to take him seriously at this rate. He leaned against the trash can and focused on trying to breathe again, for a minute. "Ugh. He spit a few times, trying to get the taste out of his mouth. "So...do you come here often?"
no subject
She had to contain her smirk when she first ran into Miles in the office. He greeted her as you would any other new employee, but little did he know that he was already familiar with her.

"So, you're a lawyer? Man, I wish they sent you instead."
CRAP. That was definitely just admitting that he'd been to court, wasn't it? But it was true. A beautiful young woman would have been much better than a boring middle aged man. And since he still got into trouble either way, even if she wasn't very good, it wouldn't have mattered.
A little shakily, but breathing alright again, he reached a hand back out for the cigarette. He'd have to do a better job this time, if he wanted to impress her. He wouldn't inhale.
no subject
"Why? Have you gotten into legal trouble recently?"
no subject
"Oh...uh. It wasn't too bad."
