Who: Frau, Kevin, Teito... and maybe someone at the medical center?
When: May 17th during the outbreak
Where: Frau's apartment and maybe the medical center?
Summary: Kevin comes to pick Mimsy up and finds Frau and Teito rather ill.
Warnings: It's Frau. That explains it all.
The past few days had pretty much sucked. Killing his mentor, devouring the souls of the corrupt, falling to the influence of the scythe, the guilt from the war... All of it had piled onto Frau and driven him down. He had started off just being more tired than usual, but the exhausted had slowly progressed into physical pain, and finally to dizziness and nausea. He'd been in bed, or at least the coffin that counted as his bed, for the entire day and had no intention of moving. Simply staying awake through the illness was trying for him. The only reason why he still was awake was Teito. His apprentice was also sick and quite a bit worse off than Frau. Unfortunately there was very little Frau could actually do to help Teito.
Thankfully, Kevin had mentioned that he would be stopping by to pick up Mimsy at some point. If it was soon, maybe Frau could convince him to get Teito to a doctor. The kid really needed it. While Frau didn't want to leave Teito alone, he knew he couldn't go to a doctor. With how sick he was, someone would look over him and realize he wasn't exactly one of the living. That was something he needed to avoid. He would simply have to trust Teito to the hands of the doctors and maybe convince a friend to go and check on him from time to time as well. Frau sighed, though it came out as more of a groan, and closed his eyes, hoping Kevin would show up soon.

"I'm here if you need me. For anything, kid."

"Looks like ya need help more'n I do." He looked pointedly at the body in the coffin. Which was very odd to think about.

"Only at the moment."

Which he actually felt. It was the least he could do for Frau. Frau had taken care of Mimsy and hadn't given up on him. He could handle taking care of a sick person.
"Not like I'm gonna get sick. Can't touch anythin'." Smirk.

He hadn't gotten sick since he was a kid an still alive. Now sickness just consists of being too cold to move or being exhausted from a long night of work.

Since it wasn't affecting him but was Frau and he was pretty sure maybe one of the angels had gotten sick? "Maybe it's got somethin' t'do with the soul?" He was guessing. A lot.

Minus housing Verloren's soul, which didn't make him any less human than normal. As for the soul, it was possible. No illness to the soul had ever resulted in a physical illness that Frau knew of though. Sure, being sick at heart could make Lab's tea taste sweet, but that was totally different.

But he didn't say anything. What did he know? Maybe he was reading more into it than he should. "C'mon, get back in. Gotta get some fluids in ya. I've got soup on the stove an' makin' stock so ya got somethin' warm t'drink."

The second he did all of the heaviness and weakness returned in full. Frau knew he was supposed to be waking up, but the idea of that just didn't seem possible. It would require a lot of effort. Effort he wasn't sure he wanted to put in.

He sighed, looking down at the mug and the sleeping Bishop. "C'mon, yer Excellency. Time t'get up an' drink. Jus' fer a bit, an' then ya c'n go back t'sleep." He frowned for a moment and then went and got his coat. That would protect Frau, since he couldn't do it for himself right now. He tucked it around Frau's one side and then propped him up a little. "C'mon, Bishop, or I start callin' in doctors."

He groaned, feeling completely miserable.
"Call docs and I kill you..."
no subject
But only a couple of hours. Because Frau was going to come to hate Kevin's doctoring very, very fast. Wake up every two hours for some sort of sustenance, or he called the docs.

The price of being dead. Frau trusted Labrador to help him, but that was because Lab knew how their long dead bodies worked. They were in the same situation. Nobody else did. Besides, even if they accepted that Frau was dead and could work with that, he didn't think he even followed the norm for animated dead bodies.
He took a few sips of the liquid Kevin had brought without much more complaint though. He was somewhat thirsty. If he hadn't been so exhausted, he would have had quite a bit more to drink for sure.

"I'm jus' gonna be in the kitchen, if'n ya need anythin'." Probably baking, but why the hell not?

Which was probably obvious since Frau was already halfway there. Just drinking a little bit had sapped the energy he had. Frau snuggled down into his coffin, happy and content. Or at least as happy as he could be when he felt so miserable.
