Where: The Teen Titan Warehouse, Sector 11.
Summary: Possible new member of the Teen Titans!
Warnings: None that I can think of!

[With the influx of new people coming into the port, it made it the perfect time to recruit to the Teen Titans. The Core seemed to have an idea that bringing in people who were just passionate about justice as the Titans were, back home, was a good idea. Or, maybe it just picked out more people it thought would be interesting in a new place, and in a new world.

In any case, Tim was taking advantage of it. He might be felling sick with a cold right now, but he was still in his Red Robin uniform, waiting with the tablet of information for the newest person to come check out the warehouse.

Should be fun.]

[AndrAIa followed the directions. Warehouse at Sector 11. She wasn't sure if it was smart to tell Matrix about it first... she figured she'd see what it was all about and go from there.

She approached the building confidently. While it all seemed a little sketchy, she believed the person on the other side was good. There was no use judging a man by his text.]

Hello..?

[Still, her hand clutched to the metal piece that would expand into a trident on cue. While she wanted to believe the best intentions in people... she had been tricked before.]

[He appears from the shadows; he'd learned how to from the best, after all. With his full Red Robin uniform on, cowl in place, cape in place, and other equipment at the ready, he was glad he was ready. Maybe a little sick, but a cold wasn't going to stop him.]

I'm Red Robin. We spoke over the network, but I understand if you're a little wary. I wanted to extend an offer to you.

[AndrAIa wasn't thrown by his appearance. She had run into "heroes" before.]

I'm AndrAIa. It's nice to meet you, Red Robin.

[She relaxed a bit, wanting to assume the best intentions of people before putting up her defenses]

...What's your offer?

We're looking for people, like yourself, who want to help others. We do it by putting on a mask and a costume and fighting monsters and others out in the darkness.

[He pauses.]</small. We don't do it for fame, or glory, or money. We do it because we want to help people, and we always work in a team setting. You have to learn to work with others. Are you interested?

I'm definitely interested.

[AndrAIa smiled a little. She worked very well with others.]

So I'd... need to wear a mask.

And a costume. [He nods.] We can help you design a costume, if you'd like help. You also need a code name... it helps if you make it something that represents what you stand for. And something that can't get trashed in the news.

I guess it's necessary if I don't want my good deeds to be attached to me as the warrior and not as the faceless fighter of good. Does it really matter what I call myself? [There's a pause] Not that I want to be known as something stupid, but I'm just saying...

[She waves it off]

I'm sure I can come up with something.

[Curiously she clicks on her icon on her belt twice]

Reboot!

[Enveloped in a beam of light for a split second, her appearance changes. AndrAIa now becomes a fully suited, and aquatic take on a Star Sapphire costume. Her colors are dark, and her hair seemed to have grown much longer. She looks down at herself]

Hm. Not bad.

[He cut off, watching her change in appearance.]

...That works. Really well, actually. [He smiles, just barely, and holds out a tablet to her.]

Would it be okay if I expanded this log to others? Not this thread specifically, but to have another thread within it with someone else? Since right now we have a lot of people interested in the Titans, and I don't want to flood the log community with too many of the same logs! If not, I understand, too!

[Nyaruko is perhaps not the most subtle of people, especially now that she was reveling in the feeling of not having to hide and wow people really went to bed when the sirens went off!

The Darkness was almost like a playground, and she had found out in the past few days that there were superheroes in the city!

Obviously, she is deliriously happy enough that she's basically bouncing from rooftop to rooftop just because she could, humming loudly (is that possible?) as she lands on the ground before the warehouse.]

[Red Robin steps out from the shadows, a tablet in his hand. He was ready for this little presentation; showing her around, seeing if she would decide to join them.

For everything she'd said and done so far, he really did hope she would.]

[The stars in her eyes, man. It is there. Let's hope he didn't get his hand caught in her iron grip, since this is possibly what she considers one of the greatest things to happen to her (although before this would be rescuing Mahiro... before that was coming to Earth, and before that was getting her assignment, before that was joining the Space Defense Agency...]

A super special, top secret superhero headquarters. I am already impressed!

[He doesn't mind that; it helps that he's just glad someone is excited. Everyone else is, he knows, but they're also not here right now. And he had an image to set.]

It's not up to the standards we're used to, yet, but we're getting there. Before I show you around, though, I need to go through some things. Mostly, are you sure you want to do this? There are rules for it. You have to wear a costume. You can't ever tell anyone your codename, and you can't tell anyone your real name. You need to be able to work in a team, and if you can't right now, that's fine; we're still training. You can't tell anyone what you do. Not your friends, family, lovers, whatever. It's not just for their safety, it's for your's, and your team's.

If you can agree to all of these terms, then we can go forward.

[There's a piece of her hair that may just wilt dramatically at that.]

I want to, I want to! I'm alright with the costume and it's a little strange to take a different name but I can still totally do that!

[There's a bit of wibbling as she brings up her hands to under her chin sadly.]

But I want to be able to tell Mahiro everything I do if he ever comes here-- I don't want to keep secrets from him at all! He's not here right now and I'm pretty sure he won't ask about it if I tell him it's super top secret, but I can't keep a single thing secret from the love of my life! He knows everything about me!

[.......Actually, he doesn't know much about her at all and would rather not listen to her, but that's now how it works in her head.]

[Red Robin understood that well enough. It was difficult, keeping a secret identity from the person you loved the most. He'd kept it from his dad for years; it was only when his father knew he was Robin that he ended up dying.

He'd dated too many, and lost too many. But he did understand.]

You said he's not here right now, right? How about, if he ever shows up here, we'll figure it out. If you can keep it a secret from everyone else, we'll work with you on that one person.

I can do that, and then when Mahiro gets here I can tell him all about the things I've done and he'll be so proud of me!

[Whoa there. She might be getting ahead of herself with all that spinning and energy.]

Abso-lutely! I can make sure to keep a secret, even though I don't actually really like keeping secrets, but superhero identities are super top secret and that means Nyaruko can make sure not to say a single peep about them!
