Who: Jubilee |
thelittlestbub & Alan Humphries |
amongthethorns
When: May 22nd afternoon
Where: Eric & Alan's Apartment
Summary: So Alan's found hishusb-Boyfriend roommate is MIA. He's furious but after an interesting call from Jubilee he's swallowed it down for now and packed an over-night bag.
Warnings: None other than a slightly cranky Alan
It's not until after Alan's stopped replying to Jubilee and pulling together a small bag that something clicks. It clicks so hard it floors him with the force of it and he has to sit down. Eric's note had said he was moving things at the doctor's rooms that he'd be gone a few days but now suddenly this woman, who he has no reason to disbelieve or even really believe for that matter, calls him; offers him a place to stay. All he can think at the moment is that something happened but he shoves that aside with a firm shake of his head. If something had happened someone would have contacted him and they'd have told him over the phone rather than pretending.
"Don't be silly, Alan. " He forces himself to his feet because there's nothing he can do otherwise. He only knows of two people Eric knew and getting into touch with his boss and senior wouldn't be difficult. He wouldn't let himself get upset about this. Instead he busies himself in folding up some clothes to tuck into his bag, muttering under his breath. "DEATH, Where does he get off? Making me fuss like this, wandering off. Sending total strangers to coddle me when he's not around like a toddler in need of a sitter..."

Or stole them, which ever.
"Most of our produce comes from the greenhouse. WE're looking to expand it too, so hey,. get in requests now."

He tilted his head a little. "Why would I? I mean-" He trailed off frowning. "How long does Eric want you to keep me here?" Even as he said it there was a flare of bitterness and anger. If he expected him to just sit back and live with total strangers with no kind of fuss Eric was absolutely mistaken.
SOOOO SORRY! I lost the tag D:
"He asked if you could stay. Because you were friends with Michael, I said sure. Whether you live here or not? That's your choice." She was not holding anyone captive, dammit. "But just because you don't live here? Doesn't mean one; that you're not a friend or two; that you can't make a request for our new greenhouse." Because, friends, you see? "Everything else is up to you."
Happens to me -all- the time.
He grinned a bit then clasped his hands behind his back "If that offer of accepting my suggestions is still there. Since it's summer I'd certainly suggest watermelon, ground cherries and any of the berries but especially strawberries."
