I can see inside you, the sickness is rising
Who: Jinx, Gabriel, Claudio and Trauma, with special guest appearances by Mary Winchester and Red X
When: Pretty much over the course of the whole sickness plot.
Where: House of Emo
Summary: They're a collective mess. What do you expect but to have all of them deathly ill from a guilt plague? ...Okay, not all of them. But nobody is surprised. (Also known as, we didn't want to flood the com with multiple things.)
Warnings: Sick characters, Character death, cursing, the general expected sort of craziness.
[To no one's great surprise, the plague struck and struck hard. It overall became a crazy, hectic mess about the moment that more than one of them came down with it, and made even less so by the fact that Jinx found bells and decided to use them.
High pitched noises are no one's friend.
Needless to say, as things continued, everyone began to go a bit stir crazy, but it could always be worse, right?]

Damn it Trauma stop being such an emo brat and-ohhhh you aren't faking
And, it made sense.
There was a plague based on guilt, and so of course he deserved to be sick, he had things he deserved to be guilty for. What was worse, he knew thinking this way had to make it worse, but it was like a loop in his head, it wouldn't stop.
And so it got worse.
As it was, Terry hadn't woken for several hours, but that was fairly normal over the past few days. The difference was, he'd been able to wake up if he'd tried, and that wasn't true anymore.
If he'd been awake, he wouldn't have been surprised that he'd gotten so sick. Then, if he'd been awake, there wouldn't be a problem.]

...unlike the emo wonder. Yes, she knows Trauma has issues, and she constantly overlooks them. So long as the kid isn't slitting his wrists or playing My Chemical Romance too loud, she makes a joke out of his angst. Because it's not depression, it's angst. Right?
At least she loves him, even if it's in her own special way. Sometimes, it feels like no one has been together in this city as long as Trauma and Jinx. They used to share the same twin bed because they were too dirt poor to afford more. Now they have enough money to have everything they need and they're back to sharing a bed. Mostly out of convenience. Their several story town home is a lot larger when you're ill.
With their arms wrapped around each other, the brother and sister are sleeping. Trauma has her loosely in his grip, his chin on her head. She's thrown an arm around him, coughing into his stale smelling shirt. They've been out for several hours. Finally, when she gets thirst enough, the princess begins to stir. She pulls herself away from him with a groan. It takes a lot of effort, but she manages to grab the water bottle and take a few, slow drinks.
She shoves Trauma in the shoulder.]
Wake up, stupid.
[Her voice is hoarse. She coughs, trying to clear her throat enough to speak louder.]
You need water, T. Wake up.
[Glaring, she shoves him in the shoulder harder and he just...falls over onto his back. Her eyes grow wide. That's when she begins shaking him. Slapping his cheek. The sorceress screams, but no sound comes out. She tries her best to yell for help. For anyone. Her throat is raw. When she goes to grab a bell, she notices her vision is blurred and hot. Ringing the damn thing seems so stupid, so she throws it.
Then, with her powers, she throws the entire coffee table across the room. That should be loud enough.]

Did he- son of a bitch. [He's not an idiot. He knows what that look is and the fact that Trauma's not moving says just as much as the broken coffee table. Jinx may have had a temper, but she controlled it better these days. He turns to yell at someone outside the room.] Claudio, get in here.
[Because really if Trauma's out, Jinx will want both of her remaining boys with her.]

[Guilt was something he did have enough of. Guilt about his siblings, guilt about his parents, guilt about the slavery and AGI issue and what people had to go through for him (esp Jinx), guilt about this and that. Especially guilt about not wanting to return home to save countless people and 69 planets.]
[Having his mom here for a short while didn't help that either...]
[With all that he should be doing worse then he was, though he was trying to work through why. Maybe he didn't feel so guilty after all? None the less he did feel sick and he was trying to hide it. He had been staying in his and Trauma's room for a while, alone, but since the infernal bell kept ringing and he WAS trying to help Gabe as best he could... he'd been staying down stairs more.]
[Which was a good thing. As the table crashed he hissed, holding a hand over his head as if trying to stave off the headache that was already there. Who was throwing her temper around now?--Right. The Princess. Did she lose her bell?]
[He was starting to push himself out, nudging Owen out of the way to wake him up... as he heard Gabe call. He blinked, and stood up with a wobble, pushing off and through the room.]
[Wandering over to where the sick club was he opened his mouth to talk, only to see Terry that way. His mouth closed again, dry.]
T-Terry? [He scrambled over to the end of the fold out, knee on it, reaching over to grab his wrist, checking a pulse, eyes wide, because, you know, he kinda looked dead to him, and he was pretty sure Jinx would be next, and there was no fucking way he could deal with one of them being dead let alone both of them.]
[No fucking way he could deal with that at all]
no subject
She refused.
The moment Claudio was there, checking his pulse, it jump started her to do the same. With two fingers pressed to his neck, she put her ear right up against his mouth. From all the yelling she had been attempting, she's coughing hard. She's terrified. Her voice is barely audible.]
He's breathing.
[Eyes bloodshot and wide, she looks between the two conscious boys. Her hand reaches out to grab onto Claudio as she addresses Gabriel.]
Can you fly him to the hospital? [Even though there's nothing the hospital can do for him besides put him on an IV drip. But if that's the case...]
Can you fly both of them? [She squeezes Claudio's hand and looks at him.] You need to stay with him.

It'll be rough, but I can hack it. [Gabriel steps a little closer, hesitant to even touch Trauma in his condition, before it occurs to him he's not bleeding out, just feverish, and carrying him can't hurt him. He pulls one of Trauma's arms over his shoulder and nods in Dio's direction. ] Grab him. Normally I'd be all about impugning his dignity doing a bridal carry into the hospital, but I'll spare him that this once.

[As Gabe took hold of Trauma and everything clicked in place Claudio suddenly kicked into a protest. There was so much that could go wrong with this.]
No. You take him. I'll get there by car. You're sick too. If your Angel Mojo blinks out or something stupid happens...
[hee took a careful breath, looking at Trauma. He had his hand on the boys arm still, almost a grip, trying to help Gabe get hold of him... so if these protests weren't being paid attention to, things can happen, sure, but Claudio fully intended to get there on his own... so he didn't freak the fuck out over this anymore then he wanted to.]
[He was worried about Gabe, if you couldn't tell. Sick angels and all...]

Tears lead to coughing, coughing leads to gagging, and Jinx has to hold back the small amount of water she just drank. Her attention turns back to Claudio after she composes herself enough to speak.]
If you drive, I want you to be fucking careful. You understand me? Care. Ful. Call me the second you're at the hospital. And don't you dare let your brother out of your sight. [Even when she barely has a voice, she's giving orders. Once more, she squeezes his hand.] I love you.
[Her eyes move back to the angel.]
You. Stay with him until Dio gets there. Are we clear? Don't leave for anything. I'm trusting you, fatass.
no subject
He'd be offended, but Gabriel knows better than anyone what Jinx will do for these two boys, that they predate him, and that if it weren't for them, they never would have met, so he brush off any what about me's. Got it. As soon as Claudio gets there, I'm comin' right back. You, princess, shouldn't be alone.

[Personally he really wanted Jinx to come with them and get treatment as well. He was scared to death she'd be the same way in a moment. he didn't want her alone either, but a drive over might be worse for her. Gabe could force her to the hospital after he has breather maybe.]
[He drew back from the three, running a hand over his forehead.] I'll be careful, Jinx. I'll call as soon as I'm there. [and yes, he wouldn't let Trauma out of his damn sight once he was in it again.]
[Feeling as if he couldn't breath he drew back more, trying to hold it together a bit longer. He needed this car ride to let out everything before having to face it all again]
Owen. Watch Jinx. Code CK-404. [he could be heard saying as he started out of the room, telling the dog to keep an eye on Jinx. The Ck-404 meant that he, Claudio Kilgannon, was 404, or... file not found. A geek joke he could remember with ease. It simply meant that he wasn't around and that he needed his family looked after.]
[He grabbed his keys and his hoodie, pausing to look back at the others, not daring to leave till he knew Gabe managed to get out with Trauma with no issues.]

[It's taking a lot of willpower not to just break down into hysterics and cling to her boys. They're all going to leave her. Trauma is unconscious. Dean died from this plague. Gabriel's sick and he's not supposed to be. Claudio's never ill. Oh god.]
Attack pattern Alpha, team. Go.

We'll be back.
[Best he can offer, really.]

[The door slammed behind him as he rushed to the car, got in with speed and started out, headed to the hospital. He knew this route well enough by now. He was making good time but when he realized he cough't see through the fog of tears he stopped at the side of the road, slammed his hands into the wheel a few times and let out a frustrated horse growl.]
[Damn it! Just as he had figured it out. Figured it all out and had been stressing over it. Trying to figure how to fix it. Just as he figured out what he wanted... this happened.]
[Stupid Trauma.]
[It took him about ten minutes to get to the hospital, breakdown and all. Seriously, it wasn't far away. Parked in the underground with the best of luck in parking spaces he rushed inside, looking for Gabe and Trauma, hoping they had at least already took him in. Coma after all was fucking urgent. If they weren't in the area he was going invisible and finding them in his own damn way.]
[As he ran inside, pushing past a wave of other coughing Port side vics he had dialed up Jinx's number. If it picks up the first thing she would hear was a breathless:]
I'm here. I'm here. Fuck, you wouldn't believe how packed this place is... [followed by coughing of his own as well as that from the background. Very packed.]
no subject
Yeah, I'm loving the Pandemic vibe. Pretty sure all the ports are closed in Madagascar too. [He rolls his eyes preemptively.] Yeah, I know. You don't get that reference. Trauma's fine. Still in a damn coma, but they got him in.
