Who: Amy Sorel and the Van Helsing Household

Summary: Amy comes for a visit to check on the residents as the epidemic wanes.

As news of the epidemic waning reached Amy, she decided to pay the house of Van Helsing a visit. After all, she did know a good number of people there, which included Monsieur Van Helsing himself-- the man who played a part in freeing her father. For the household, she brought with her a basket of baked goods appropriate for the time of day: scones, cakes, and various pastries she had purchased earlier from Funtom. She hoped that those in the house would enjoy them, even if she was well aware that some of them were vampires.

Then again, she wasn't the typical vampire that couldn't take in ordinary food.

As she got to the door, she didn't hesitate to make her presence known with the knocker... or was that the door bell?

"I have been alright. Caught a slight cold, but nothing more than that." In fact, even the slightest symptoms have been cleared from Amy's system. Despite her pallid skin, she looked very much in the peach of health, figuratively speaking.

"Where may I place these?" She gestures to her basket of goodies.

"Oh, here!" he exclaimed, reaching to take the basket. Be nice to the pretty vampire-ish lady that could rip him in half, sheesh Soma.

He beckoned her to step inside, sure that someone else that knew here would probably be popping in any moment.

And indeed someone would be popping in— for not a handful of seconds later did Walter emerge from the dining room with a tray of tea and sandwiches held expertly in his capable hands. On catching sight of Amy he came to an immediate halt, his eyes widening with surprise, then recognition.

"Miss Sorel! I didn't know you'd be paying us a visit. Will you be staying for tea?"

He'd need to fetch another cup, if that was the case.

"I dropped by to check on your household. Were any of you affected by the epidemic that spread through the city? I'm sorry I wasn't able to check on you sooner."

Amy spoke, head lowered apologetically, although her expression kept its porcelain doll-like stillness.

"And, if it all right with your household, I will. I brought pastries for the occasion."

Soma rubbed the back of his neck uncomfortably, looking like he was going to say something, but then decided against it. He wasn't exactly in the mood for explaining how they dealt with the virus.

"Ah... that should be all right...?" he half asked, turning to Walter. "Um, right?"

"Of course." Walter confirmed Soma's statement before adding: "Miss Sorel is always welcome to visit."

At that, he redirected his gaze back towards Amy, answering the question Soma had neglected to address.

"And unfortunately, some of us were affected by that nasty illness. Though we're quite all right now. You needn't worry about catching anything from us."

"Good. I was not so affected by the illness, fortunately. Neither was my father. I am not afraid of it, but I am glad you all are well."

She set down her basket of pastries on a nearby table, hoping that it would be alright with the rest household to spend time with them. At least Soma and Walter were alright with her presence.
