Who: OPEN + Some Mutation Monstrosities that have no business in the mall.
When: Saturday, June 23rd. 9pm onwards.
Where: Club Twins & Crest Theatre in the Underground Mall
Summary: Two more nightspots are hit by average clubgoers that transform into mutation. This time, their targets are NOT AGI-owned.
Warnings: Disco. Possible inappropriate behavior on the dance floor. Circulating club drugs. Monsters. Violence.

At approximately 9:27, just after a secure siren lockdown procedure and right as the city's underground nightlife is heating up, there will be two major mall incidents:

One is at Twins Night Club, which is hosting a 70's Retro Night of Beegees-go-Modern-Techno. Adults of all ages (and a few kids with sharp fake IDs) will be on the dance floor by nine, and the club is packed and busy tonight.

It'll happen right before your eyes: Five clubgoers, seemingly random, average people, will suddenly twitch and writhe as if going into seizures. Their bodies will transform into something ashen skinned and grotesque, monstrous, and they will go into an attacking frenzy. Four are Common Mutation (their powers are up to you), and one is a Woman of Terror (last entry on the humanoid monster page).

By 10 pm, the club will be evacuated and searched by mall security, eye witnesses may be interviewed by press and police.

The club will be given an all clear, re-opening at 11pm, and the party will continue safely on into the night, with the crowd significantly thinned out as some anxious clubgoers take their partying to other areas of the mall.

....Or maybe you were in the mood for a 'romantic date night' to catch the spine tingling thrills (or laughs at the cheesy-lame effects) of a double feature 50's monster flick down at the Crest Theatre. But wait a minute. It's rival the Millenium Theatre is the one shows films with 4-D technology! So...that's that nasty breath that doesn't reek like stale popcorn? And that slimy, prehensile tongue on your neck is not your boyfriend coming back from the bathroom for a little surprise action.

There are two mutation lurking the half-filled old movie theater with chameleon-skinned blending abilities and a 9-inch slimy tongue that likes a good long, languid taste of its prey. In fact, they will just as soon take a sneaky sampling from the necks or ears of just about everyone in the theater before deciding who it wants to eat. Licked skin will itch with a mild rash for the next 24 hours. Have fun with that kids, and hold onto your popcorn!

Hmmn well.. It's hard to explain, I suppose you could say it's instinctive. There's just something about her that's off, you know?

[She thinks she knows what she's talking about but in actuality Hattie is just really picky about her company. Washu seems interesting enough, but she doubts she'd get along with a scientist. After she listens a bit more, she chuckles.]

Oh dear, is Szayel generally difficult to please? .. Is he a scientist too?

Maybe I should meet her.

[If Keigo can have some spiritual sensing ability, and people manifest latent abilities here, Hattie could be developing a similar ability. The only way to tell for sure is to meet Meg.]

Szayel is tremendously difficult to please. He is a scientist who thinks he is perfection incarnate.

Is that so.. You must have the patience of a saint!

As for Meg, well, I wouldn't be against something like that. Though, no offense to you, you seem capable of befriending anyone. [She frowns] It's a little troubling, really. I suppose it can't be helped considering your goals.

I come from a wealthy background. Here I just feel so.. I don't know. I should be at fancy balls, not dingy night clubs with these.. People. I wish I could just find a Prince and move on from this madness.

[Nelliel looks a little sheepish as Hattie says she must have the patience of a saint.]

Well...I did lose my temper on him rather badly once last summer. It's a good thing Espada are so durable. I kicked him across a field.

[She listens to Hattie's troubles. It's not surprising to find that out about Hattie, really, but she thinks the Port has probably helped her friend to become more resilient.]

It might not be what you want to hear, but I think your experiences here are making you a stronger person.

[And to our left we have Hattie staring at Nell with a dropped jaw. She's just going to be like that for a moment because while she could imagine the arrancar getting upset, she can't imagine anyone kicking someone across an entire field!!]

I.. I.. Had no idea you were that strong, Nelliel, I.. My goodness! I suppose it goes without saying that he was all right after that.. Eventually. Goodness gracious.

[She's taken aback by the comment that follows.]

Mngh.. I don't know what good that does me. I have nothing against you being strong, for example. But certain characteristics aren't normal, even unattractive, for a princess.

... I'm rather nervous about changing too much.

He stopped trying to get away with being disrespectful to an Espada five ranks higher than him after that.

[It's actually a watered-down version of the truth, but Nelliel doesn't want to explain to Hattie that she actually punched Szayel off of their third story rooftop and then kicked him across the field before he hit the ground. He stopped flying across the field when he collided with a tree. Spread eagle.]

There are different kinds of strength, Hattie. I cannot imagine a prince who would object to a princess who can maintain her composure in a frightening situation, or one who can adapt to setbacks.

[Hattie can't help but giggle.]

I would certainly hope someone would learn their lesson after that.

[She crosses her arms thoughtfully]

R- Really? I.. Well, I suppose it isn't out of the question, few home traditions seem to have carried over to this time. So here's a question for you: What's your dream?

My dream? I never really gave it much thought.

[And it's true. She hasn't. Nelliel is one to deal with the here and now rather than spending much time hoping for the future.]

I want to see Siren's Port led by people who care about the well-being of all citizens, whether they are Newcomers or not. I want to see Gohan grow up and get married. I would like to visit the places I have seen on the Discovery Channel...

[She pauses, unsure if this is the kind of dream Hattie is inquiring about.]

[The look on the blonde's face is that of mild confusion. She's trying to hide it, she really is.]

O- Oh.. Well.. I see. Well that's understandable, really. I find the Newcomer drama rather annoying myself. [It's been hurting her business, you see. She brightens, however.] I never thought much about traveling. I'd just like to live in a gigantic castle. Well.. Mansion. But now you've got me quite curious, I'd like to meet Gohan sometime!

[Hattie reaches for a drink menu on the table and looks it over. She doesn't recognize a lot of what's being offered.]

Oooh, this one has an apple slice on it!

Gohan is a polite and very intelligent boy. He attends classes at the University with much older classmates.

[Can you hear the proud Mommyspada come through in her tone, Hattie? She might not be Gohan's biological mother, but she's proud of him nonetheless.]

Hmm...I think I'll try the drink with a strawberry on it.

[She chuckles, she can hear the pride loud and clear.]

You are such a mother, Nelliel! I'll be looking forward to meeting him. All right, I'll be right back.

[Hattie stands up and walks off, though along the way runs into Joe. He appears to point her to the bar, where she goes and starts flirting with Asch. Water and juice may have been on your menu, Nell, but Hattie most certainly didn't know that so she returns about six minutes later with a sour expression, an appletini and a strawberry martini. She hands over a glass then sits, grumbling a bit and looking very embarrassed.]

Hmph. This place isn't so great.

[Nelliel sits and waits for Hattie, taking the time to glance around at the room's decor and at what other people have chosen to wear to this event.

When Hattie returns, Nelliel's eyes raise at the expression on her friend's face. Whatever happened, Hattie's definitely not happy about it.]

Ah...is everything all right, Hattie?

[Hattie takes a sip from her glass, grumbling a bit to herself for a moment, then sighs.]

I'm fine, Nelliel, I just need to work on my approach, I suppose.. The princes here are just so hard-headed. [Pot, meet kettle.] I don't think I'm going to find what I'm looking for here, after all.

Oh, speaking of which, you did mention climbing the social ladder before, didn't you? That's so exciting, there's so much that we're going to need to do!
