You say you found a way back inside my closet;
Who: Mr. Merlotte & Miss Visser One
When: Tuesday afternoon
Where: Merlotte's
Summary: Visser One comes to visit Sam at work. Unfortunately, so does a Darkness monster.
Warnings: idek

[It's a beautiful Tuesday afternoon. No rain, no clouds, plenty of sunshine and reason to be out enjoying it. Lovely.
It's horrible for business.
The place is practically dead, and what few scattered patrons are enjoying lunch inside today are quiet, mostly of the older set. Not enough people to need many workers on to serve. Already running with two kitchen staff and one server, Sam called to tell Jesse not to come in either. What's the point of a DJ for ten people? So instead it's Sam at the music station, shuffling up a playlist of songs that won't upset the older crowd, but also won't put him to sleep. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it.]

You're right, I guess I did. Sounds like what you really want is a shot. So - shot of tequila it is. [he'll put some salt and a lime on the rim, of course.]
Rough day?

[Edriss gives the shot glass and lime a quizzical look, drawing up memories from Eva she's never needed before.]
Tequila shooters. [ ? ]

It's real simple. For this drink, you take a little lick 'o salt, then you gulp down that drink, and then you suck on a lime. Easy peasy.

I think I remember. [A moment of distaste:] What possible purpose could any ritual serve that involves licking yourself?

[She looks at it quizzically for a moment, then licks a slow stripe up the side of her hand and sprinkles salt on it.
Great. Now her hand is salty. Edriss glances up at Sam, half-amused at this human peculiarity.]
And you're sure it's only to drink, of course. It has no sexual component?

In her experience, there is always expectation carried when someone's first suggestion is something like this.
But this expectation is something simple. It's human, it's easy. It's better than whatever waits for her at home with Marco, the morphing brat.
Her mouth twitches in a slight smile.]
Is this that kind of bar?

That sounds interesting. [A lie.] Maybe even enjoyable. [The truth.]

He glances away for a moment, embarrassed by his own thoughts. Sam straightens.] I'd like to think it would be. ...'Course, middle of the afternoon in a public bar's not always the best place for it. At least not unless you're in one of the private rooms.
Depends on how comfortable you are.

She does, however, let a little mockery twist into her expression, but not enough to betray any cruelty.]
I meant seeing the bar that way. As an observer, it could be interesting.
[Still holding her salty hand up, she slowly pushes the salt across the counter to him.]
