Who: [personal profile] rainprism, [personal profile] todomarishi, [personal profile] feverpitching and [personal profile] mirroredmemory
When: January 21st, 5:30 onwards
Where: House of REPRESSION Departure
Summary: Xion drops supplies off at the House of Departure in the middle of the snowstorm and stays for dinner with the boyfriend and his family.
Warnings: Really huge pants.

[At five twenty seven, Xion checks her reflection in the bathroom mirror, then heads to the kitchen to grab the paperbag full of supplies on the table. She calls out her goodbyes to the others, ruffles Xact's head as he brushes against her legs, then after zipping up her coat, she summons up a corridor and is on her way.

At five thirty on on the dot, Xion arrives in the front hall of Ven's house.]

[Her eyes flit helplessly at the mess of glass that now surrounds her, too bewildered at the sheer volume of her own clumsiness to say anything at all.

Until Terra finally decides to step into the picture. And gives her ... that look.

Her confusion soon shifts, hardening into undisguised, stony defensiveness. Now what's happening in the kitchen matters. Now it's time to be helpful. Aqua might have been blind before, but she isn't daft. Ventus and Xion are some sort of item -- This is more than some casual dinner! And Terra knew about it. Didn't he?
]

You go right ahead.

[If his goal is merely to distract her, he is doing an outstanding job. Both Ventus and Xion have temporarily faded into the background in favor of meeting what she perceives as a challenge. He hasn't said anything, sure. But she hears it just as easily as if he'd spoken right into her ear: Don't you dare call attention to what you just saw.

As if she would!

The icy, pointed stare that has been directed at Terra melts almost instantaneously into one of even disappointment. She even sighs sadly, gesturing out to the hopelessly irreparable drinkware scattered all around her feet.
]

I should clean this up myself. It's my mess.

[Turning carefully in the direction of her younger friend, giving Terra the full, unmistakable view of a very cold shoulder.]

Ven, pass me the broom?
