The setup is probably more elaborate than anticipated. Jesse's paying for it all out-of-pocket, but as he has a drug dealer's income, he's splurged on all the best stuff.

The food includes everything that everyone suggested on his post. Hotdogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, pizza, chips, cookies, cake... There's an open bar for all the alcoholic drinks and a table with coolers for all the rest.

The music is selected by your host, Jesse, who's also the main DJ for the event. That guarantees a selection of varying quality that focuses heavily on hip-hop, rap, and dubstep. It's not always kid-friendly, but it's good for dancing.

General entertainment comes in the form of swimming, beach volleyball, a bonfire as the sun begins to set (including s'mores!), and a huge fireworks display just before sirens.

Security is being handled by Jesse's goons. You didn't think he'd host a Newcomer party without them, right? They're armed and much stronger than he is, so don't mess. A few healers are also on hand for first-aid.

Transportation back to the Tower Apartments via shuttle is also provided at the end of the night. (He really splurged.)

[Blaine holds his hand as they get into the water. He grins as it washes over their feet.]

[He laughs.]

Do you remember our first beach date?

[Blaine smiles and then nods. He leans up to kiss the side of Kurt's face.] We still have each other, even when things don't make sense.

[A blush and a pleased smile.]

You pulled me into the water, remember?

You needed to loosen up.

[a pause] This time, maybe we can shower together? [He suggests, softly, because he doesn't want to push Kurt to expose his arms.]

[He bites his lip, looking unsure for a moment.]

I... [...] Okay. We can do that.

[mediumdrip]

[Blaine grins] Okay. Later. For now we enjoy the water.

[showbizpanache]

[Kurt's smile returns, and he grabs hold of Blaine's hand to pull him further out to sea.]

Come on! [He giggles as water splashes around them.]

[Blaine loses himself in having fun then. He stops thinking about how messed up things have been and focuses on enjoying himself with his boyfriend. He splashes around and plays in the waves.]

[Kurt does too, and at some point finds himself pressed against Blaine, his arms around his boyfriend's neck as they stand in the water.

The sun is starting to set, and he sighs.]

How romantic.

[Blaine's hands settle on Kurt's hips. He kisses the side of Kurt's head.] Yeah. It's wonderful.

Kiss me?

[For some reason their wet bodies seem to fit more closely together than usual, and he loves that he can feel every angle of Blaine's body against his own.]

[Blaine turns his head so that he can kiss Kurt deeply.]

[Kurt melts into the kiss, holding Blaine close and tilting them back-- At first it seems as though he's just bending his body, but then he tugs Blaine down into the water, shrieking and giggling as he flops down with a splash.]

[Blaine splashes around for a moment before settling in to kiss Kurt once more. He's smiling as he does.

He pulls back before it gets to be too intense though.] We should get home. It's going to be dark soon.
