Giving it one more time but...

Who: Claire Bennett and Claudio Kilgannon
When: February 2ed 5th repeating Bullshit Should be Sunday...
Where: Sector Four, not far from a bus stop...
Summary: For the past few days Claudio has watched a mugging go wrong. Very wrong. He attempted to stop it twice already. Here goes a 3rd time... this time someone happens to see him in the middle of his failure. Oh hi Claire.
Warnings: Blood, Fire, Cussing, general warnings for Claudio being grumpy, possible NPC death. Nothing bad... will update as needed.

This was the third time he saw it, though this time he had come with this in mind only. There had to be a way to stop this form happening, and he would keep trying every day if it worked. Today he didn’t have the shopping bag he had had the last few repeated days. Today he came out and leaned on a wall and waited, watching.

There was the woman with the purse and the large bag, headed to the ATM. Now where was the Pyro? Yesterday he had stepped in and tried to help the woman, receiving a rather nasty burn to the arm from the one man and a good smack to his face with a heavy purse that was on fire. He ended up getting beaten by the woman he was trying to help and the Pyro got away with a wad of money anyhow.

Not to mention the gun shot.

That was the part that bothered him the most. In the last few ‘days’ he kept seeing it happen. Over and over. Though each time he stepped in it changed. Always in the end though, the woman ended up dead. A bullet to the head. Last time he had effected things enough that it hit her in the chest instead, but it still hit her.

And he still was set on fire.

This was bullshit, and he had decided to leave it alone, but he couldn’t. He was there again, moving into action. He went into Ghost mode at first, sneaking up and attempted to stop the Pyro this time. Appearing almost on top of him he grappled with the Pyro, the sleeve of his jacket catching fire again (but this time from the Pyro itself and not the woman at least). By time he was done fighting with the man the woman had screamed, turning to swing her purse, like a ton of bricks, into the back of Claudio’s head.

To anyone watching or catching this, it appeared as if Claudio jumped out to attack the tall dark haired man, only to be set on fire and beaten by a purse. He stumbled back as he was hit, yelling “Oh, come on woman! Let me fuckin’ help you already! Ow! Stop! ow! Shit!” He shrunk back at being hit a few more times, putting the fire out by yanking his jacket off and scrambling away from the heavy set woman.

“Are you crazy!? He was going to kill you!” He hissed as the woman was yelling ‘Rapist!’ ‘Fire!’ and ‘Thief!’ all at once, swinging the purse at him again, also hitting the other man. Claudio was trying to put the fire out on his jacket while the woman went to work beating the other man with her purse again, the fire catching it once more.

Claire was trying out her own theories like everyone else in the Port, though they weren't as extreme, dramatic, or dangerous. Things like that wouldn't matter with her ability, anyway. What would happen if she took the day off- would her boss remember, or would it all reset and nothing would happen? So far, so good- she hadn't gotten any angry calls from her employer to come into work yet.

She rounded the corner, stopping immediately. Confusion etched on her face, she rushed forward, more to help the woman than anything.

-Wait. She knew one of those guys. Maybe; she'd talked to him on the network, right? "Claudio?"

"What's going on?" She stayed put, staring at the woman and the other man, the flaming purse earning a look of confusion from her. She hesitated for a moment, then moved toward Claudio, her eyes still fixated on the other two.

"Shouldn't we help her?" Or him. Who was the one being attacked?
