Sand and surf is GO!
Who: Integra Hellsing, Alucard, Seras Victoria, Soma Cruz, Doctor Seward, Abraham van Helsing, Walter C. Dornez... if I'm forgetting someone I'll add 'em when they tag in!
When: Thursday, July 12th; early afternoon.
Where: THE BEEEEEACH!
Summary: Basically, the Stoker household are going out for a -relaxing- day at the beach. Hurr.
Warnings: Possible language? SHENANIGANS. I'll edit if anything comes up.
How long had it been since Integra had last seen the ocean in all of its glory? Let alone a beach; such a trip was few and far between, unless it was directly involved with work somehow. Today, however, was not about work, but play.
Well, for most of the people coming along. For Integra, it was about sitting on the beach and simply admiring the view. And probably feeling insanely uncomfortable in a swimsuit, but THAT was a completely different issue all together. The very thought had her tugging her jacket ever so slightly tighter around her form.
Stepping onto the sand carrying in her hand a cooler full of ice, drinks, little snacks, and even a few blood packs for the resident vampires, she turned to glance at her fellow beach-goers, tilting her head. "...Where are we setting up?"

Dammit, she'd seen Jaws. She knew how that movie worked. As an added bonus, the theme song was suddenly playing in loop in her mind...
"Was this really necessary?"

"It was. Do you feel your day at the beach is complete now?" Alucard asked, letting the bony point of his chin rest on her shoulder.

But that was true, he had been promised a war, endless slaughter only to come here and find double the Hellsing and none of the targets. The Darkness monsters grew old after a while.

"How about a drink? I can make you something tropical." He was an expert mix master thanks to Arthur, who used the vampire as an impromptu bartender at times.

The next words that came out of her vampire's mouth had her blinking; she'd never, EVER expected him to say anything along the lines of making her a drink. Tilting her head quizzically, a slender brow rose in question. "I had no idea you knew how to make drinks."

It was a legitimate question, really; she herself had never EVER pushed the vampire into doing little mundane things like that, because she hadn't seen the point. The most she'd ever done, when she was little, was asked him to push her in a swing... maybe once or twice, and that was because she'd simply wanted to spend time with him.

"That's... my father was nothing like that, when I knew him, at least. Granted, I didn't spend a lot of time with him..."

Of course, it was only a theory.

She closed her eyes for a moment at the memory. "...That something was you, of course."

Not that he wouldn't agree he was dangerous and Arthur had told him from the beginning that when he was not needed he would be set aside until he was.

She shook her head. "I could not, and would not do that to you."

"That is why I think we will get along well," After all, he had no desire to break away from Hellsing, it was a purpose, a goal. A land to protect now that he had none of his own.
