Sand and surf is GO!

Who: Integra Hellsing, Alucard, Seras Victoria, Soma Cruz, Doctor Seward, Abraham van Helsing, Walter C. Dornez... if I'm forgetting someone I'll add 'em when they tag in!
When: Thursday, July 12th; early afternoon.
Where: THE BEEEEEACH!
Summary: Basically, the Stoker household are going out for a -relaxing- day at the beach. Hurr.
Warnings: Possible language? SHENANIGANS. I'll edit if anything comes up.

How long had it been since Integra had last seen the ocean in all of its glory? Let alone a beach; such a trip was few and far between, unless it was directly involved with work somehow. Today, however, was not about work, but play.

Well, for most of the people coming along. For Integra, it was about sitting on the beach and simply admiring the view. And probably feeling insanely uncomfortable in a swimsuit, but THAT was a completely different issue all together. The very thought had her tugging her jacket ever so slightly tighter around her form.

Stepping onto the sand carrying in her hand a cooler full of ice, drinks, little snacks, and even a few blood packs for the resident vampires, she turned to glance at her fellow beach-goers, tilting her head. "...Where are we setting up?"

No beach icons...we can pretend!

Since when did Seward frequent the beach? The answer to that, of course, was hardly ever, if ever. The Doctor never seemed to be able to escape his asylum back home, nor the dreariness of London, with the exception of the visits to Lucy's or Arthur's or even to Professor van Helsing's. He wasn't able to think of any of that, if at all however, as he stepped foot on the sand barefoot, for once not clad in a suit at all, but rather a vintage swimsuit his professor had helpfully managed to find. Not so surprisingly he feels a little more than naked being in such a thing, but given the light-hearted occasion he wouldn't be incredibly surprised.

"Ah...It seems everyone else has already arrived."

But then it was in fashion back then to be fashionably late, if only just.

Automatically he went to adjust his tie, but..discovering it was not there let his hand drop and gave up, realizing altogether how long it had been since he'd managed to visit the ocean. It was a beautiful sight ot take in, one which let a hush die down over him while the others were setting up their things. Only after everyone is settled in does he approach them all.

"Oh..Miss Hellsing, Miss Victoria, Mister Cruz, Mister Dornez..I do hope you all are enjoying yourselves."

Curiously he doesn't mention that red-eyed thing gaily prancing or whatever it was he was doing...Though, he supposed, it would have been cruel not to let the other enjoy the sun. For a moment though, he has to remember, that this form of vampire does not in fact burn to a crisp when exposed to direct sunlight. Pity that. Then again he'd rather not witness Miss Victoria go in such an awful way. Just..certain other parties.

Unlike the majority of the party, Seward is one to understand Integra's situation. He himself does not feel comfortable in anything less than a full formal suit. But, the occasion being what it was, he had it slightly easier given Integra had been brought up with a different mindset and he was a man. However, he was feeling increasingly awkward with the sheer amount of skin some ladies were exposing...Along with the men. Of course, he has had almost three years to get used to it from the city and the varying array of scantily clad women there, but...This was a little different. A little more open than he liked.

He'll clear his throat a bit as he tried not to avert his gaze, but inevitably couldn't help it. Thankfully however, he has Integra in front of him now to distract him as he approached her, trying NOT to stare at anyone too long, really.

"Ah...Miss Hellsing! Here you are. Yes, I agree, a very lovely day for such an outing, I'm rather glad you suggested it. Are you...Erm, enjoying yourself?" The moment the question came from his lips he feels a bit...even more awkward somehow, suffering from what was probably second hand discomfort, on her behalf.

"I think my professor should be right along...He doesn't enjoy going out too often, I'm afraid." A trait him and his granddaughter shared, it would seem.

He sort of stares to the bottle a bit dumbly for a moment before realizing, and graciously receiving the bottle with little objection.

"Ah...That is very kind of you."

He is somewhat embarrassed that she was implying his pale, English skin might indeed suffer from the strength of the Canadian sun; but the bare truth of the matter was he would have readily burnt if not for the sunscreen properties...(The Victorian era was not aware such a formula to prevent the sun from causing burns was available, hence the more functionally body-covered clothing but, alas. Hence, the application of such a thing might be a little confusing at first...)

He'll take the bottle and uncap it, squeezing a bit of the lotion into his palm and spreading it on his arms...If he could apply it thoroughly like a topical ointment then there was no need to worry, yes?

"Well, I don't suppose you fancy yourself a bit of play with the others, hm?"

"Thus far I see she know only the way of which brutes und beasts play! Hark, Friend John!"

Those called words were of a man bent on showing up the lot of hellborne cretins they so obligatorily surrounded themselves with. Van Helsing was hardly a daywalker, but by God would he enrapture every moment he endured the daylight, most especially if it meant he and his dear friend could have a go at a bit of rough-housing.

"Hoppla, we go! Let us show how gents brave the sea!"

Before poor John could even clearly see the rambunctious old fellow approach, the lanky shrink was man-handled by his striped-wet-suited professor and lifted over his head to be carried off towards the shoreline. The speed of this was enough to kick up the wind in dear Integral's hair as her grandfather dashed with his flailing partner over his shoulder and crashed them headfirst into the welcoming waves.

He was just about to greet his professor in return in a way that could only be described as proper in front of their mutual lady acquaintance when quite suddenly the bottle flew out of his hands and he was lifted quite absurdly into the air! Given the length of his legs it must have looked quite comical indeed as he flailed about and was carried away, his voice shouting in protest:

"W-waaaah! A-abrahaaaaaaam!!"

And with a loud crashing of waves and a splash Seward and his professor were immersed beneath the surface of the ocean's blue surface.
