Tolly had swerved after Mimsy, easily keeping pace. While the rabbit caught Mimsy's attention, it wasn't anything interesting to Tolly. However, she wasn't going to allow Mimsy to get the best of her, so she took off after it too. Being faster that the dog was a requirement.
