Ah, yes the human mind and it's inability to think at human speeds. Oddly enough, something Jake was glad for too. Even after having a week to get used to it, there was something alarming and uncomfortable to him about the way he thought when he was an AI. He was a man of action (or so he liked to think), and he wanted to be out there doing things with his fists flying and nary a thought in his head! While the AR had felt limited by his slower speeds and need to perform menial tasks in order to survive, Jake had felt trapped and helpless. Unable to move how he wanted, unable to reach out and grab things with his own hands.

Needless to say, both boys were probably much, much happier in their own bodies, or lack of a real, substantial bodies in the AR's case.

Jake took a moment to reply back, examining his hands and fingers, stretching out his arms in front of him until he heard his shoulders pop. Yep, definitely good to be "home". God, the grin on his face was just obnoxious.

"If we could never do that again that would be super."

He paused, rolling his shoulders and stretching his legs out in front of him before doubling over to touch his toes. He missed stretching to weird degree.

"Though I'd still like to give whoever was behind this whole mess a piece of my mind."
