Gimmie Gimmie
Who: Xellos, Hattie of Heaven, maybe even Hellmaster Phibrizzo if we're lucky!
When: Back-dated to 8/1, 2pm
Where: Uzushio
Summary: Hattie makes a deal with the DEVIL for a chance to live the dream.
Warnings: There may not actually be a devil
It's a nice day and Hattie is dressed in more modern attire; a white jacket, ruffled orange blouse and black pencil skirt- rest assured it's expensive. And she reaaaally hates having to shop on a budget. It really isn't working out. But should things go well, she'll have a brand new fashion life ahead of her-
She was so excited about the possibilities that she could hardly get any sleep last night and it was up to Ella to drag the sleep-deprived blonde out of bed. Literally. But she was in good shape now, albeit a bit stiff and sore from tossing and turning. But she put up a good face upon entering the hotel, and simply smirked as her presence turned a few heads. MN! WORK IT, GIRL! She should go and break a few hearts once this is over and done with.
But first, she had to find the priest, and so she approaches the front desk to, hopefully, be pointed in the right direction.
(OOC: Action or prose is fine~.)

"Good afternoon, miss," he greeted. "Welcome to the Uzushio Ryokan."
Although the Uzushio was technically owned by AGI, nearly all of its shares were owned by Phibrizzo, with Xellos as the legal adult on all the accounts. The staff regarded him as the previous owner's foster son, and as a clever boy that earned his keep by maintaining the Darkness proofing of the building.
"Are you waiting to be checked in, or is there something I can help you with?"

After the initial shock wears off, she leans down just a bit to set one hand upon her knees and the other to try and pinch his cheek, "Oh aren't you the cutest! Starting work at such a young age, there must be someone you really like in your life, isn't there? That is just too precious, I could just eat you up!"
It'll be a few more attempts at pinching and fussing before she'd reveal her purpose here.
no subject
Phibrizzo jumped back and dodged the cheek pinching to the best of his ability. It was more difficult than he would have liked it to be, particularly since positive emotion made him feel nauseous. It was one thing for people to remark on how cute he was, but this? This was excessive. How utterly mortifying.
"Anyway, was there something you needed help with?"
Something that didn't involve him being manhandled like a particularly adorable and fluffy kitten, preferably. He was hoping to keep some of his dignity in tact.
no subject
A clever one, that Phibrizzo. Once Hattie was reminded she's supposed to answer the question, the blonde actually eased up on her affection, "Oh! Right, yes, of course, I'm here to see.. Ah..."
What was his name? Zero? Sell off? Albatross? She was so used to calling him by a particular name she had completely forgotten what his given name was. With a weak smile, she offered, ".. Mister Priest; I agreed to meet him here at two o'clock. I'm certain there's only one priest that works in this facility, right?"
no subject
"My my, Miss Hattie. Am I that forgettable that you didn't even remember my name? "
He pouts a bit as he says this.

Hattie jumped in surprise, nearly dropping her handbag as well. Nearly. She quickly turned to look to Xellos, but rather than glare at him, she instead gave an embarassed laugh, "N- No! Oh goodness no, that isn't the case at all, you're quite the opposite! Memorable and mysterious, honest! It's just a misunderstanding, really."
She looked left to right, and couldn't for the life of her figure out where Xelloss approached from- She didn't hear the door open. "I- It's good to see you again, Mister Priest. But.. Where did you just come from?"
no subject
"Maybe someone was looking for a manager right before your appointment, Miss Hattie. ...or maybe Xellos felt like having a little bit of fun."
He suspected the latter, but it was entirely possible that Xellos felt like dodging having to deal with a petty complaint to ensure that both mazoku in the building got to feed off of some irritation.

"If you would follow me, we can begin our arrangements. It should be done relatively quickly, then you can get to your spa treatment with Giorgio. His hands are magical."
He said cheerfully enough. Depending on his mood, Phibrizzo would either tag along, or find something more interesting to do.
no subject
That was mostly reaction to spa treatment, but she was eager to get money as well; she'd written up a hell of an expenses list.
To the smaller of the two men, Hattie winked, "Thank you very much for your assistance, young man~."

"Phibrizzo will be tagging along, he has an eager mind for such things, and wants to know all the ins and outs of business when he is fully grown."
Xellos began walking towards the intended meeting place, his office. It was relatively simply adorned, nothing out of the ordinary. He didn't spend a great deal of time there, and ornamentation didn't interest him in the slightest.
no subject
Being fussed over that is. It won't be easy for her to treat him professionally, but she'll try!
"But yes, I don't have a problem with that, Mister Priest."
Once in the office, she gives the area a brief once over then takes a seat without any comment. But the disappointment is all over her face- It wasn't nearly as mysterious as she was hoping.
no subject
"I'm eight," Phibrizzo replied. "Xellos and I are opening up a magic shop soon...at the Uzushio, I take care of the Darkness proofing, mostly."
What he omitted was that he was the one unofficially in charge. It wasn't a lie to say that he was responsible for the Darkness proofing, though. He took a seat just off to the side for the meeting. Hattie and Xellos would be the ones filling out paperwork, and thus needed use of Xellos' desk space.
"Is something wrong, Miss Hattie?" he asked, noting the look on her face.
no subject
"She is probably just disappointed that the office doesn't live up to my title. The mist and smoke made finding papers ever so difficult though. Plus losing people, which of course just meant more paperwork"
He may or may not be joking. He says this in his usual cheerful demeanour though.
no subject
"A Magic Shop? That sounds.. Fun." she said, mostly to humor him. For the moment she didn't realize that it could hold some things she'd be interested in, as she was mostly focused on fashion and skin treatment. So liked this location better.
She then blushed toward Xelloss again, with a nervous laugh, "Oh, no.. I.." She's embarassing herself so hard in front of him. She counted herself lucky that he seemed so patient! But she didn't take the last comment seriously, that was too silly! "Oh you! Well then, I've written up a list of things I'll need, though I don't have their exact values written down, Mister Priest, just estimates. I hope that won't be a problem.."
no subject
"You seem to have a lot of ribbon and lace, not to mention jewellery on the list. Though as long as you can justify the expense it should be ok. I'd advise you start out small, and make a few samples, just in case you end up with a surplus. Of course how you run the business is entirely up to you."
Whether she followed his advice or not really didn't matter to him, so long as she made the appropriate signatures.
no subject
The blonde looked quite proud of herself, but she paused at the moment in reaction to 'start out small'. She twisted her lips a bit, then took her pen out of her bag to make an adjustment that was on the back of the paper.
Stretch limousineFord EdgeShe handed it back, ".. Is that better?"
no subject
The car thing would be a bit of an expense, they could get one certainly without too much problem. He didn't really understand them well himself, had a sort of basic knowledge of them, but he knew Miss Hattie seemed to like them a great deal and consider them a badge of wealth.
"The car might not be to your specifications, but it will rest assured be well appointed, and in good repair. Though who would be driving it?"
no subject
That said, she seemed a little hesitant about not getting the 1st or 2nd choice vehicle that she wanted, but.. She trusted the Mysterious Priest enough this far, and he seemed to understand her tastes, why not trust him a little more?
Not to mention, he asks a good question, "I have a couple of people in mind lined up," she replies, finger to her lower lip. That is, a couple of people who may do so for dirt cheap! "Though if you have any recommendations, I'd be happy to hear them out!"
no subject
He really didn't understand her desire for a car so badly, nor the desire of many to own one. The island wasn't a particularly huge place, and there were faster ways to move around. If you were going to go for quick transportation, you could just hire one of the teleporters.
"Oh I see, well that works out nicely for you. Well if you have your heart set on someone else, feel free. If you have any trouble keeping or finding someone, let me know and I should be able to find someone suitable."
no subject
Hattie blushes, with a dismissive wave of her hand. Such a flatterer. Hattie wanted it mostly for the social status; but she couldn't deny it'd be useful for transporting fabrics and goods. But not just any clunky old car would do for her!
She seemed a bit surprised afterward, though. Did Xelloss have someone in mind for her? What a sweetheart! "Well I'll certainly keep that in mind if things fall through, Mister Priest. And with that said, it sounds like everything is in order, yes? Is there anything else I need to know before I sign?"
no subject
"Not particularly, we should be able to have the car ready within the week. Make sure you have the driver's qualifications sent as soon as possible." Though of course she should probably inquire more about the details, which would be a wise thing to do, she didn't need to do so however.
He made a little mark where she should sign, it had a little star beside each of the places.
"Just sign beside the star, and you can go to your massage."
no subject
It was pathetically easy, really.
Hattie took her pen and signed her name. It takes about a minute for her to do, as it appears she's a perfectionist when it comes to writing. Imagine how long it took to write that list!
Once that was done she returned the paper, "Wonderful! Thank you so much, Mister Priest, I won't disappoint you!" She then looked to the younger of the paid, "Would you be so kind as to direct me to the spa, Mister Phibrizzo?"
