Summary: The Big Bad Wolf returns.

[he's up and growling the moment he hits the ground, fingers turned to claws in the earth as he flashes fangs from a still-human mouth at the sky. No. No. He can't be back here. Not again. Not now.
The plaid shirt on his back stretches and threatens to rip as the body under it shifts size in indecisive, angry spurts. Going wolf won't take him home. He knows that. It won't put him on the search for his missing children any faster, if he's really back where he thinks he is.
Where he knows he is.
Human fingers scratch at the dirt as Bigby lets the change leave him, hanging his head. He was given the chance to go home, and he was given the time to become a father and a husband, and to win the war with the Empire. Time to beat back Mr. Dark and mourn his father after the dust had cleared. It's just never time enough, is it? That's life for you.
Bigby starts to stand again.]
