[ There were always rumors flying around the black market. Most of them weren't worth the breath it took to pass them on: rumors about a guy who could fix you up so your fingerprints changed every hour, or a lady who could put an implant in your eye that'd read the credit card numbers of anyone within a yard of you it's true, my cousin's ex-boyfriend had it done.
The one about the guy who could sell you powers, though, that one was persistant. And after a little digging it yielding an actual address, one that lead to an actual bona fide building.
The jewellery and assorted valuables in the window of Crossroads didn't provide any clues to what might be sold over the counter, but then the best black market places didn't - like the Alveare back home, you just had to know the right way to ask.
