Gaara arrived in the forest, eyes scanning the area without much concern. He was waiting for his opponent, senses open in case she attempted some form of sneak attack. His sand would undoubtedly protect him in either case, but she might wish to fight without the use of powers. Not that he would care what she wanted if she started throwing knives at his back.

[Red stalked across the forest floor, enjoying the feel of the air across her back. The branches snapped across her massive form, the scents slid past her nose... She growled, pleased. Soon she'd be back in the city, with the noises that constantly assaulted her ears, and it's endless smells. in the forest, though... in the forest, things were simpler. Just her and the food, not another human in sight.

Except for the rare instances where she smelled one. When she did, she could rarely help moving toward them, head lifting for a howl. She would listen for how they reacted to that before she chose whether to come closer - and whether to retake human form. Some of them needed the gentler touch of another human, whereas others... others knew how to appreciate the wild wolf in its own element.

It was the ones that tried to shoot her that she protested against.]
