We're the chemists who've found the formula to make your heart swell and burst

Who: Axel and Luxord
When: Thursday 06Sept, afternoon
Where: A nondescript diner somewhere inconspicuous
Summary: Axel has no beef with Luxord and figures he deserves to know the truth Xemnas and Xigbar kept from them all this time. Over a plate of fries.
Warnings: Prolly nothing but egregious amounts of smarm.

Axel had never known Luxord terribly well. He had worked with him a few times and lost several games of cards to him, but they had never really spent much quality time together. Still, Axel had nothing against him, and maybe it was simple Nobody Solidarity that drove him to the text message he'd sent, but he figured Luxord deserved to know the truth. He wasn't going to get it from Xino Mao, that was for sure, and so whatever the reason, he felt compelled to inform him.

Maybe that fledgling heart of his was suddenly working in overdrive now that he'd had little choice but to acknowledge it. Whatever.

Seated at a table on the patio out in front of the eatery, a plate of curly fries and a glass of iced tea in front of him, Axel waited for his old cohort to arrive. They hadn't exactly specified a time, but considering it was Luxord he figured whatever time the man showed up he was always on time.

He hadn't needed to specify one. The suggestion of something too serious to speak of over text was enough for that. True, Luxord he hadn't been about to hurry, but all the same no one could precisely call his arrival late by the time he arrived. Certainly, he had no idea what could have persuaded Axel to speak to him, but that was certainly no call to make Axel wait.

"I trust you haven't been waiting long?"
