Who: Lisbeth Salander and John Winchester
When: After sirens on September 8th
Where: Some random bar in Sector 4
Summary: Lisbeth is minding her own business until John starts talking shit. Trouble ensues.
Warnings: Cursing and violence
[Lisbeth usually found herself in a club, but because of the things happening at home, she doesn't think she could handle a night of listening to blaring music. Instead, she finds a bar to just sit and not think. She feels bad that she crushed Ambien into Jesse's soda about an hour ago, but she wanted to get out. However, when he was tweaked out, she couldn't leave him alone. The last time she did that, she had to go on a manhunt before finding him in the Underground Mall.
So Lisbeth sits in a corner of the bar, smoking a cigarette and a beer in front of her. However, she keeps checking her NV guiltily. Just one more beer and then maybe she'll go home.]

[He kind of hovers at the end of her table. It'd be creepy to sit down (and it's not like he wants to anyway), so he has to go with the next best option.]
You were with my wife when she was...hurt in the hunt.
[He takes a drink to steady himself. The memory still makes him sick.]
Thank you, for that. So she wasn't alone.

No big deal.

[He leans against the table, knuckles pressed against the wood. He's trying desperately to figure out how to articulate what he wants to say.]
That someone like you would be with her to the end, especially after what she's gone through before. It's a big deal.

What do you mean 'someone like you'?
[Please. Enlighten her.]

Did you not hear the part where I was trying to thank you?
[You and your ungrateful ass, clearly.]

I was, but what you added about a 'person like me' has nothing to do with me helping Mary.

Just take the fucking compliment.

So now it's a compliment.

What? With that jackass you're dating? Hey, that ain't my problem, you get what you pay for.

I just thought you'd be the expert concerning problems at home.
:D

What she had to defend against was all the other terminology.]
He's a good man.

You got some fucked up sense of good and bad, then.
