There Is A Dinner Party Right Across The Hall
Who: Phancyhive and invited/close CR!
When: Wednesday Evening for supper
Where: Phancyhive
Summary: With so many new additions to the household, it's only proper to welcome them with a dinner party.
Warnings: A bunch of crazy people around a dinner table. What could possibly go wrong?
[Ciel hated parties. Really, he did. They were an unbearable drudgery of having to socialize but he could manage to endure for one night. It was expected of him to host such an event, what with the new additions to the household, so despite his desire to lock himself away in his office, he'd been dressed in lovely clothes and had the whole thing arranged.
The dining room itself was decorated exquisitely and the food that had been set out was unbearably tempting to anyone who'd glance upon it. Hopefully, the whole night wouldn't be an ordeal. The last thing needed was more stress.]

[He briefly glances back over his shoulder as they approach Break's door.]
I should go back and check on her too.
no subject
Here, if you would- [Allow him to dump Break completely on Gilbert so he can step ahead and get the door open.]
--Please make sure she knows everyone is okay.
no subject
I will.
no subject
Thank you.
And don't say "it's nothing" this time-!
no subject
You're welcome. [See, he can say it.]
I'll be back up to check on him later.
no subject
Alright. Ah- good luck with- [finding zombie eyes... dealing with a bunch of panicked people...] Well, good luck.
no subject
Ow!
[ He reaches for his head. Now that he's lying down, all those bobby pins are digging into his scalp. ]
no subject
But before he leaves:]
Good luck to you, too.
[exeunt.]
no subject
Can you sit up?
no subject
Mmmm? Gilbert?
no subject
He just left.
no subject
[ He sits up, finally, pushing himself up with his hands. ]
He's a good boy, Gilbert.
no subject
[Beat. Can he just... reach over and... pluck out a bobby pin. Don't move-!]
no subject
He wouldn't believe me. But he's a good boy...
Unlike soooooooooome people~
[ His voice is back to its fool's facade, though weaker and wheezier than normal: ]
Making an old man cryyyyyyy, Mister Reim. What a thing to do, hmmm~?
no subject
I already apologized-!
[Hnn. Those guilty feelings are coming back.]
I suppose you have a right to be angry with me.
no subject
[ He sits for a moment, leaning against Reim's hand. He's quiet, feeling the sensation of Reim's fingers moving through his hair, plucking out pins. ]
But... .
I'm not angry. Well - I'm a little angry. Angry with Lord Idiot-Hair, mostly.
no subject
He didn't give the order to spite you, you know. If word got out about March Hare's skill...
no subject
[ The facade drops: ]
Mostly, I'm glad.
no subject
Good! Now you can quit moping around like-- [LIKE SOMEBODY DIED. Never mind. He hasn't yet reached his quota, so:]
I'm sorry.
no subject
So - I'm a bit fuzzy on the details. You and I both survived that night?
no subject
Yes... [Lamely:] Sharon said we were unconscious for days.
