Summary: With so many new additions to the household, it's only proper to welcome them with a dinner party.

<sub>[Ciel hated parties. Really, he did. They were an unbearable drudgery of having to socialize but he could manage to endure for one night. It was expected of him to host such an event, what with the new additions to the household, so despite his desire to lock himself away in his office, he'd been dressed in lovely clothes and had the whole thing arranged.

The dining room itself was decorated exquisitely and the food that had been set out was unbearably tempting to anyone who'd glance upon it. Hopefully, the whole night wouldn't be an ordeal. The last thing needed was more stress.]</sub>

[Now he's smiling, with his eyebrows raised and his lids lowered a fraction.]

Nnnnn, [he says petulantly, but he does slide down from the piano top. After a stoop and a pause to tug his stockings back into place (as they'd ridden down amidst all his scooting), he straightens, and drinks deeply from his wineglass, eyeing Ciel all the while.]

You know, you ought have brought your violin out.

[His glass is only halfway full, now, but he holds it out to Ciel, standing and smiling with his empty hand on his hip.]

You need to relax during parties, especially if you're the one hosting. [Alois leans closer, and bumps his nose against Ciel's hair, just for a moment. Already he smells of wine, of flowers.] People will feel strange having fun if they see you hating everything.

I know how to relax, or at the very least fake it.

Yes, but then you're going to climb into bed all stiff and with a headache... [It's not admonishing, though.]
