(no subject)

Who:  Frau and OPEN (so far it should also include Lieselotte Achebach, Sasuke Uchiha, and Lisbeth)
When:  Somewhere between 9/20 and 10/7 or so
Where:  Various sectors, see individual threads
Summary:  Frau is pretty distraught over Teito's disappearance.  Without his light, he's slipping further into the darkness and going after souls he wouldn't usually go after.  More info here
Warnings:  Lots of swearing, corruption, fighting... just general not goodness probably

Everything was so dark.  Again.  Frau had faced the darkness before.  He'd lived in it for a long time, watched it slowly get worse, slowly drag him down.  Now, though, it was different.  Now, without his light, without Teito, it seemed so much worse again.  Without the kid to guide him out of the darkness that surrounded him and consumed him, he didn't know what to do.  It's what had led him out to hunt so often recently.  He wasn't being that careful either.  So far nobody had even suspected there was one person consuming others throughout the city.  There hadn't been a mention of it at all even though it had been months.  Frau was careful.

Now he wasn't.  Hunting during the day was fine.  He was even going after people he wouldn't usually target.  They were still corrupted, sure, but their souls weren't blackened beyond redemption.  At this point though, he didn't care.  Part of him might have recognized the fact that the scythe probably had a stronger grip on him than it should, but this time he wasn't fighting it back.  He'd slipped a bit.  Not enough that consuming one of them could destroy him, but the path he walked was a slippery slope.  There was only so much longer he could hold on.

((OOC Note:  For those Frau is targeting or those who notice him, feel free to start a new thread.  I'd include the sector and date in the subject line if you can.  Frau's going to be roaming pretty much anywhere, so feel free to use any sector even though he lives in 4 and works in 5.))

On some level, it seemed like it might be getting through to her. She hadn't tried to strike again, after all, and she didn't seem like the type who would hesitate given a reason to do so. This didn't mean that she was completely won over, but she at least had something of a reason to hold herself back.

"And I suppose if I choose the path you don't like, you'll come after me again." She crosses her arms in front of her, the case she'd been holding sitting on the ground next to her. "It would be easier to just get rid of you if that were the case. Still, you held yourself back so I shall as well. Though only once. If you follow me, I shall hurt you." In one motion, she leans over to grab her carrying case and leap backwards. There's a metallic clang as her thick boots hit the top of the fence that had looked to be blocking her way. She balances there, eyes on the man who had seemed so intent to harm her mere minutes before. She opens her mouth as if to say something, closes it, then opens it again. "Gier will release you shortly. As I said, do not follow me."

Balanced atop the fence, the girl seems less then concerned about the promise. It did not sound like a threat, rather simply what he intended to do. "And if that time comes, I shall kill you then. For now, there is nothing to gain in doing so." A small leap has her land on the other side, still facing her assailant. "And I shall keep my eye on you as well. I have not met someone in this city quite so...unique. I am still uncertain if you are a fool or not."

These are the last words the girl offers before turning and dashing away. It seems she is at least somewhat trustworthy, not long after she has faded from sight, the creature simply seeps into the ground, leaving no evidence it was ever there, and freeing him.
