Who: Allen Walker and YOU
When: October 2nd - 6th, at night.
Where: Anywhere your heart desires.
Summary: Allen spends more time than he frankly should out in the Darkness, fightin' monsters. Care to join him?
Warnings: VIOLENCE, blood, excellent life choices. Also shounen.
[After the evening siren rings, Allen heads out of his apartment to spend a few good hours slaying monsters around the city, like he does almost every night.
Sure, he had a bad run-in with one back in August, but it'll take a lot more than that to deter him. In fact, it's only motivated him to fight harder against them, because he needs to work to become stronger. And it's much easier if he goes out alone to do so. There are no flaws in his plan.
So if (for whatever reason) you're out at night as well, you may come across this guy, wielding a giant blade that looks like this with one arm (because his other one is missing) and wearing a billowing, oversized fur-lined white cape. Not terribly difficult to recognize, if you've seen him before. He's looking for something to fight or someone to rescue, and he may stop to see how things are going for you.]

[He's perfectly A-OK, though!!
He wishes he knew, man. Life would be so much easier if he could detect them— instead, he has to rely on his slightly-better-than-average night vision. And hearing, but it's kinda hard to listen out for anything, when the gunshots are still ringing in his ears...
He approaches the edge of the roof, eyes on the street. Quietly;] There might be...
[Just there! Looked like something darted into an alleyway...! He makes a motion at Nill that's meant to indicate she should stay where she is.]
no subject
She doesn't listen, though, and quietly steps over to where he is, peering over the side of the building with her gun drawn.]

But right now, all his attention is on the street. From behind a trashcan, some creature, the size of a dog, skitters out into the open. Its faceless head swings back and forth, searching for something- presumably a meal- despite lacking eyes. That thing is ugly, whatever it is.
It seems too far down to attack them, though, and Allen doubts it'll be able to climb up the side of a building to reach them. But he holds out his right arm out anyway, preparing to attack it with an Innocence belt.]
no subject
Nill isn't totally inclined to think it's ugly, but she still frowns when the creature comes out into the open. What a strange thing... how does it even eat?
Her frown deepens, and she holds a hand out to Allen, just to stop him for the moment.]
Are you sure we should attack it? It's far enough down that it probably won't notice us.
no subject
No, it's pretty ugly. And he pauses before attempting to skewer the thing, since he doesn't want to accidentally take her arm off.
Should he let a dangerous monster roam free, simply because they're out of its range...?]
If we let it be, it could attack someone else.
no subject
It could.
[She pulls her hand back down, and takes a step away.]
no subject
As she moves back, he nods- and shish-kabobs the monster with some well-aimed belts from his right sleeve. It dies rather noisily.]
I don't see any others...
[Though he doesn't take his eyes off the alley. He's not sure if those things travel in packs...]
no subject
Allen's strength is amazing to watch. Nill doesn't take her eyes off the monster while it's dying, and then she looks back up at him.]
Should we go check?
no subject
He closes his eyes for a moment, silently hoping that the Innocence has managed to purify this creature's soul, and that it won't return another night. He knows what the changes are, but he has to believe that it's not impossible.
Then he looks back at her, and nods.]
Mm.
no subject
She hopes that if it is a spirit, though - something that wasn't always that ugly thing - that it's okay somehow, even if just for tonight.]
I'll see you down there.
[She still feels badly, and she's not sure what else to say - so instead of trying, she steps towards the edge of the building, summoning gusts of wind with every movement, until she stands on the ledge and jumps, with a huge burst of wind. Several more on the way down will slow her descent enough that all she'll do is stumble when she lands.]
no subject
All r--
...!
[Oh, there she goes. He rushes to the edge of the building, but doesn't try to stop her as she jumps. Though it's disconcerting to watch... she appears to have it under control
He'll follow her down, then, using his claw and belts on the side of the building to rappel his way to the street.]
no subject
She lands a bit better than she did when she first started out, but it's still a bit on the rough side. Knees would be scraped if he weren't dressed for avoiding things like that. As it is, she's on her feet again when Allen gets to the ground, guns in hand.]
...Do you come out here every night, Allen?
no subject
Ah... some nights.
[Most nights. Whenever he can make it out here.]
no subject
Are you being careful?
