To be fairly honest Karkat doesn't know how he got himself into this mess. It wasn't really that he had this planned very well in the beginning anyways since it only started out with an idea, an idea of having a decent talk with Terezi about... anything. Then suddenly he was suppose to be leader(!!!) and have every thing planned so he asked her to meet him at the Fairgrounds.

Yeah, it's been 10 days since he said that and he's still not ready.

The place sure was lively though, so it looks like there are plenty of things to do before they would have to talk right? He'll be hoping for that.

So now Karkat will just be standing here in front of this Fairground waiting for Terezi.

[ everything with karkat was complicated. complicated feelings, complicated leaderly things, complicated need to know EVERYTHING about ANYTHING and so on. terezi knew... sort of... what she was getting into... kinda... when karkat told her he wanted to talk about stuff because stuff with karkat is never simple.

[ it's a troll delicacy that humans apparently know everything about?? she breezes past karkat (not even bothering to say hi, how rude), and grabs his hand, dragging him after her. ]

One minute he's standing here all nervous and the next he's dragged. And she's... holding his hand....... With this realization he suddenly feels the need to pull away but doesn't. He must be cool about this, it isn't like he doesn't like it.

Just. Really. Don't just drag him off like that, he's tense right now!!! But it's nice to see that she came, though he knew she was going to come. She wouldn't just not come after saying she would. ]

[ Well this works, cotton candy sounds like a great distraction right now. ]

[ this is a huge change from the last time she and kk were face to face in the veil, that's for sure. at that point, terezi had just watched dave bite the dust at her own urging, and the hand she's using now to hold karkat's was used to push him away.

[ terezi comes to a halt in the middle of the front section of the carnival, slowly inhaling...................... ]

[ she pinpoints the smell of the fluffy deliciousness and yanks karkat's arm to bring him along. in fact, she doesn't stop striding until she reaches the vendor, walking right up to his cart. she bends over, placing her hands on the counter and looking up at the guy excitedly with nothing but her horns and eyes peeking over the side. ]

Karkat, pay the man for our treat.

[ terezi, learn to not be rude. ]

[ So he gets a pink one for Terezi because that's the closest thing to red they have. Deal with it. He does he another one for himself, blue, because he doesn't want to hold anything close to that color.

He hands the pink one out to her. ]

[ without waiting (what is this "holding her hoofbeast" shit anyway???) terezi dives into the pink cotton candy, nomming happily. it's not nearly as good as it is on alternia, but it's close enough. grabbing at karkat's free hand with hers, she continues dragging him along, trying to put off the "talk" for as long as she can.

plus she's just a funloving girl, you can't blame her for wanting to run around and do shit. ]

[ Nnngh, this distractions were good he didn't mind. Especially since no one should know about today at all. He is in the clear. Or at least he thinks so...
