Summary: Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and a neutral business is doing their part to make sure that people enjoy the most important part of the holiday: THE PIES. Come get a free pie.
Warnings: Warning for cavities. No really, brush your teeth after eating, kids.

This is Gilbert's third time witnessing this modern holiday in Siren's Port. It's a different sort of tradition than his own world's celebration of welcoming in the harvest with a large feast, but then, there's nothing in this world that mirrors his own when it comes to holiday and tradition. Still, he and Funtom are doing their part to promote charity and goodwill by offering a free pumpkin pie ('One per customer, please!' proclaims a sign on the counter with a childish sketch of a happy black rabbit sitting in a teacup.) to complete your meal tomorrow evening!

Come in and get your free pie, sit down and enjoy tea and pastries, or just come in to bother the baker as he moves from the kitchen to the front counter to help pass them out.

Tim is nibbling on the edge Gilbert's shirt now.]

[He jerks his hand away from the stupid flying piece of crap. R U D E Tim. So very rude!]

Wh— sorry!

[YANKING TIM AWAY!! The golem makes some sort of bizarre, almost-mechanical growling noise at Gilbert- but after a quick rebuke from Allen, he settles down. And Allen sets him on his shoulder.] Sorry...

S-so, anyway! Those sound good, I'd like to try them sometime. This pie was very good, as well! [He holds up his empty pie tin, which hasn't had any pie left in it for a few minutes now.]

[The topic of food is completely forgotten in lieu of staring down that STUPID GOLEM.]

I swear - that thing has always hated me for some reason! [Pointing at it accusingly!]

[NO, LET'S TALK ABOUT PIE.]

What!? Tim doesn't...!

[Tim somehow appears to be squinting back at Gil, in a challenging manner.]

[omg Tim don't challenge him, he'll throw you out the window like a baseball.]

Then why is it looking at me like that?!

[HA HA HA don't throw his golem out a window, please.]

...He wasn't biting your shirt because he hates you! He just enjoys chewing on things- it's a habit!

[Tim blankfaces back. Blankfaces intensely.]

A habit towards things that he doesn't like...?

[He's not falling for that blankface. He knows that lurking behind it is an annoying baseball-sized jerk wanting to bite his face off or something.]

[Please, sir. Tim hasn't been the size of a mere baseball in ages. He's more of a... cantaloupe, these days.]

No! I promise he doesn't feel that way, you shouldn't worry...!

[Allen pats Tim's squishy head, in a friendly and reassuring manner. Look at this adorable thing, what sort of problem could you possibly have with him...?

Tim just keeps staring. He doesn't know why Gil dislikes him, but he has clearly decided to dislike Gil right back. On principle!]

[It's cool, Gil doesn't even know what a baseball is anyways. Just that there's a sports team that uses them for...something. Here. Somewhere. He's pretty sure.]

The last time he was here he ruined a cake. He knocked it right onto the ground! And then he ate it!

[And as you can see, Gil still hasn't gotten over it.]

A WHOLE CAKE??]

What!? I'm sorry—! Why would he do that? That doesn't sound like...

[Allen looks to Tim, as if he might have the answers, but Tim's broken into a grin now and... Allen just... covers Tim's face with a hand...]

He doesn't remember it.

Yes, he listens very well! I'll talk to him, he won't bother you anymore. Really, there's nothing to worry about...

But he also doesn't want to offend his friend by hating his flying cantaloupe, so he sits back in his chair and sighs.]

[Slowly... removes his hand from Tim's face... Look, no grin!]

I'm very sorry about your cake.

N-no, you don't need to apologize for him.

[He's already apologized once before! But he leaves that part out because it's probably still creepy to be told things that you did that you don't remember.]

He did sort of try to fix it afterwards. Sort of.

Well, I should have been watching him-!

[It's kind of odd, that he wasn't...!

It is a little creepy to even think about these things, though, yes.

He also gives Gil an odd sort of look at that. Even he can't imagine how Tim would attempt to salvage a. cake.]
