Halloween doesn't just belong to the young and young-at-heart. Candy isn't hard to come by. So why not spend some time partying it up?

Thanks to a mistake and Network spam sent via Julian, Xino E. Mao has been dressed up for precisely that line of thinking. Thanks to Xigbar's quick fixes (i.e. connections and a few spells for the occasion), the rooms reserved for special events have been opened up for the masquerade. Yes, masquerade. All are expected to dress in costumes that aren't corny.

The lighting is dim, overlaying fitting decorations which fulfill the eerie ambiance necessary for such a Hallowed Night. These are far from cheesy store-bought decorations, of course. It's stylish and...alive. Why yes, those are Heartless Shadows creeping along the walls.

Don't get too caught up staring at the details – the details will stare back at you.

[Amy's eyes widen as she sees Jack suddenly come towards her. Somehow, she could feel her heart leaping-- for joy? Surprise? She wasn't sure, but she did feel awfully excited to see him again. Despite how she felt inside, she continued to keep her poise-- stoic and elegant, every bit the cool vampire she is.

She takes the rose and gives Jack one of her rare smiles.]

Thank you. It is such a pleasure to see you once more, Monsieur Jack. You have been missed.

[and because he has no sense of self-preservation (from angry fathers!!!) he reaches out to try and cloak Amy in a one-armed hug.]

We-- [But Amy takes so long to reply that she gets caught up in the hug! She doesn't know whether to fear for Jack's life at the hands of her father or to just... enjoy this.]

[he laughs, bright and clear, as he tries his best not to get amy's hair ruffled. he likes hugging, don't judge. he pulls away, standing near enough her to ward off anybody else who'd like to whisk her away. jack was here first :|]

[Amy is maybe a little flustered and blushy when Jack pulls away from the hug. Not a lot of people do that to her. Nope. But she still holds herself like a proper lady.]

I came here with my father.

[he makes a nervous face.]

Intimidating. [The man Amy points to carried himself with the same elegance as Amy did, with a somehow more dangerous edge.] He's the protective sort, isn't he?
