Meanwhile, at the warehouse....
Who: Tim and Blaine (Red Robin and The Warbler)
When: Tonight, after Tim's patrol
Where: Teen Titan's Warehouse, Control Room
Summary: Blaine doesn't want to keep any more secrets from Kurt. He asks Tim for advise on how to tell his new fiance that he's a Teen Titan.
Warnings: None yet.
The night was ending. One by one, Blaine guided the Teen Titans safely away from the Darkness. As all of them made it home or to their destinations in one piece, Blaine started to shut down a lot of the night's systems. There were still the ones that ran during the day but to save energy he powered down the ones that they used during the most dangerous times. It made the room quieter as the buzzing of those machines died away.
Red Robin was almost done with his patrol. Blaine moved to make some coffee as he waited for Tim to appear. He had something he wanted to talk to his friend about, and now that they had survived another night of patrolling it was as good a time as any.
It might delay his return to Kurt, but he could be patient. This was important.

After he got into a groove of mending Tim, taking direction as needed, he let himself reply. "I just don't want to lie to him. I'll let him know how important it is to me and that I'm not in a ton of danger. I mean, I stay behind the computer the whole time. I'm not out there getting cut open like you." He paused a bit as he focused on the wound. "I'm not going to let him stop me, but I'm not going to let this make me lie to him any more either."

"You know, if you wanted to, you could... I don't mean go and get cut up, but you don't need to stay behind the computer all the time, if you wanted to," He sighed, shifting his shoulder a little bit so he could see how it was doing. "So long as it's just you. How do you want to do this? Do you want to bring here? Do you think he'll want to meet the leader? I guess... let's plan on you telling him, but we need to assume how it will fall out, what we need to do with it, and then find out what he needs as soon as possible."

"...I think that'd be okay," He gave a nod. "Just don't show him the list of names on the computer. I think you can show off the map of the city, but we need to be careful. I don't think I'll be showing my face to him. It's not because I don't trust him-" That part was said in a hurry. "I just don't want to put anyone in more danger then they have to be in."

"I won't expose any one else. Not even the Teen Titan that are our friends," he said. "I promise. This isn't about exposing the team, just about me being honest with my fiance." He enjoyed saying the same, and a small smile turned up on his lips.

"I know this lifestyle isn't what you're used to, back home. There are rules in place, and it's always like you're acting. It's hard to tell what's real and what's not, sometimes. And there's the constant worry about if you're doing the right thing, or if you're making things worse, or anything like that," Even as he said that, he could feel his stomach go up in knots. He'd been having more down days then up, and he was worried for his team. Worried for his best friend, here. Worried about Kurt, how he might take all of this.
"Just.. let me know if you need me around, and when. I'll make sure this place is empty."

"...I hope he knows he's lucky," His tone became serious, smile slowly fading as he looked up at his friend. "He's really lucky to have someone like you."

"I think I'm the lucky one."
no subject
"Yeah. You're both lucky. Can you imagine what it would be like, if you'd never come here? If both of you had never come here?"

Here he had a place, he was being useful, he was getting married. "It doesn't matter. The important things is that we are here, and that we're together. It helps a bit that we have people like you in our lives too."

Tim looked down at the stitching, giving a nod of approval, too. "You did a good job. You're getting better at stitching... it's a pretty useful skill."

"It won't be too bad. Closer to spring means it'll be nicer, and you can have it outside with the weather? Or it could be something nice for the new year."
