[Couple's V-day Log] A Night to Remember; OPEN
Who: Your Host, The Guests, & St. Cupid
When: After Sirens. 9PM and onward~
Where: The Grey Line, Reserved Dining Hall & Grand Ballroom
Summary: XEMC/AGI Valentine's Day couples' party, fun, dance, etc. for your enjoyment! Dine, romance, and dance the night away. Be warned though, not everything is as it seems. <3
Warnings: Put them in the tag line, ladies and gentlemen~ (Note: The chocolate, wine, and some of the desserts are laced with aphrodisiacs, but ultimately the potency/effects shall be left up to the discretion of the player.)
There's a ladylove or beau in your life you are aiming to please; You seek to prove your love, obtain their affections, or have them swooning off their feet by the end of the night. Or perhaps your intentions are less than pure…Either way, you know this, of course, because you've chosen to bring them here. The Grey Line is an elegant restaurant whose very atmosphere is a recipe for romance, and tonight, everything your special someone needs to have an evening solely dedicated to passionate desire between the two of you will be provided for, to enjoy at your leisure.
Tonight is going to be perfect. Tonight is special.
Let the siren's song of love overwhelm you as you enter; open the doors, and walk inside.
The staff will greet you as an old friend, and take your coats, their friendly smiles a gentle contrast to the elegant decor around them. There's a feeling of euphoria which flows gently through the air, basking all those who attend.
And why shouldn't there be? The very design of the Grey Line is a masterful one, the modernity and sleekness lending to its natural beauty, played up by the fact that the structure of the restaurant itself is set into a shallow bay, with wall to wall glass windows in the main dining room which allow for the majesty of the ocean to be seen with the coming of the tides. By night, underwater lighting installed in the rocks outside attract a strange array of monstrous sea creatures.
You'll be lead back into the grand ballroom and placed at a table of your choice, a live company of instrumentals set back on a higher tier in front which overlooks the dining area.
The colors from the City bleed from the sea with the tide sweeping up the sides of the glass, bleaching it a deep aqua color.

Quiet awe overwhelms you as the soft illumination descends and caresses the faces everyone inside, giving them a soft, gentle look that adds to the undercurrent of tranquil calm.
Now, you're ready. Seated, you can observe who else is here with you, or bask in the ambience of your surroundings. Baskets of wine and chocolates are set at each table, along with a centerpiece of roses.
"Anything that you desire on the menu, sir, madam? Please, order anything you like. Compliments of your host."

Your Host. [Open]
If you catch sight of him he'll be in this snazzy little number: a princely coat of dark blue velvet, and gold rose brocade with accenting colors.
Go ahead and bother him.]
AWWW YEAAAAA
[Francis has a glass of red wine in one hand and a bit of a smarmy smirk on his face. Mingling was all well and good, if you had friends in the crowd. But, in other situations, it was more fun to improvise.]
no subject
[What was this? A blonde-haired man approaching him on the outskirts, who addressed him familiarly. He hadn't remembered the name.]
What of it?
[The older man, despite his princely, adornment, would stare at the Frenchman intensely, his arched brows knitting slightly.]
no subject
[Oh, frown at him all you want, Manfred, he's used to it. In fact, he seems more in his element the more Manfred stares at him with his furrowed brow. That's what you get for having a rival for so long.
He motions towards the group of people with his free hand.] I did not think you were the type for these functions simply because of the revelry of the night. Surely this is not a "useful" spending time as some would be, non?
no subject
[His lip curls, his stance only reinforcing both arrogant and pride. He wouldn't allow this imbecile to project his ridiculous views upon him.
He shifts, the shimmery effect of his coat making him seem more ballroom appropriate, at least.]
You think I am not capable? Ha!
no subject
oh shit, the aphro's kicking in]I never said anything of the sort, monsieur. I am simply saying, you have been using so much of your precious time berating me, that I hardly believed you had anything better to do.
no subject
It's of no concern to you what I do with my time. The fact that you continue to dwell on it makes me think it is you who have nothing better to do.
no subject
Just as mine should be no concern of yours, however, we seem to have broken that arrangement when we first met, haven't we? [He continues to give Manfred that same blasted coy smile.]
Though I must say, I am glad to see you here, to finally meet you in person. NVs... they hardly make for a good first impression of a man. [He is admitting that Manfred is making a good impression in person - cosmetically, at least.]
no subject
Good evening, sir.
no subject
Good evening.
no subject
[And he raises his glass in a bit of a toast.]
no subject
[A little offhand, but he wasn't used to taking on a subservient role. In fact, he never did. Others were expected to cater to him, not the other way around.]
Do enjoy yourself, Mister...?
no subject
[He holds his hand out for a shake.]
Pleased to meet you, Mister...?
no subject
[Manfred doesn't take it, not out of disrespect, but rather because he simply wasn't the type. Instead he'll bow his head out of formality, but nothing more.]
SERO....I see.
no subject
no subject
Is there an adequate reason as to why I should?
no subject
I don't have anything against AGI either, really. Business is simply business.

Dude yeah, sup
So why not say something to the host? That's why he's there, right?]
Quite a turnout, isn't it?
Why hello~
He has yet to meet any of the notable faces of the Corporation except Xigbar, but there is something about this man which gave him pause.]
Indeed. It would appear so.
:D
Forgive my manners. I believe we have not been properly introduced.
I am Xemnas, C.E.O. of the Xino E. Mao Corporation. I believe you know an associate of mine by the name of Xigbar?
[Since Xigbar does tend to go everywhere and gather most of the information. That's nothing to complain about.]
All the silver-haired men in the house, er AGI party.. <33~
Xemnas...A peculiar name. He'll study him carefully for a moment, then letting both hands settle on the top of his cane that was positioned in front of him.]
...I see. Then I suppose this should be rectified. I am Manfred von Karma.
[An interesting development.]
I do.
Awwww yeah, watch out XD <3
[For lack of any sort of pleasant feeling, anyway. Not like it's needed here between the two.]
Ah. Good. It saves me the trouble of reintroducing him into the scene while he makes his way around the floor.
Late but you deserve a Darkness cookie
Hn...
[Automatically his eyes search for the eyepatch-wearing man, his gaze narrowing in consideration.]
He's made himself scarce, but no matter. If he wants to make himself known he will.
Yaaaay cookie! \o/
That happens to be a habit of his at times. You never know when he will turn up.
[On a regular basis, anyway. But that's what the Second is good at - personality and delving into everything.]
no subject
A glance to the farside before he spots that sleek-haired head bobbing about the crowd.]
And yet he is your subordinate?
