worldhaditsway: (Now time for me is nothing)

Christina was starting to turn red and she hoped it was just because she'd had an entire glass and was working on a second one. Maybe that was what he'd think and she could argue that no, she wasn't blushing because of his smile, which while awkward was nice.

She had a type. She had a type something bad. Boy scouts with perfect hair and great smiles who made all the darkness go away (yeah, right up until it gets too much for them and they bolt or stab you). She bit her lip. She swore she'd get through his night without fretting about what Jesse did, because it wasn't what Tim would do. He saw weird all the time. Ahiru was right about that much.

At the mention of her looking good, her flush was too high on her cheeks to be the alcohol. "Ahiru helped me pick this out and Crowley didn't say anything about me looking like a hooker when I left, so I guess it worked for me." She tugged at her skirt and leaned forward. "Also, we're really bad at this, aren't we?"

At least she could admit it. It was somehow a lot more comforting knowing he was just as awkward as her.
