[Backdated] Something fun for a change!
Who: Tim Drake and Quinn Fabray
When: February 9th, right before siren.
Where: Quinn's apartment and then a restaurant.
Summary: Tim promised her better then Breadstix food. So he's making good on that promise.
Warnings: None that I can think of.
On the one hand, Tim hadn't been on anything resembling a date in a very, very long time. The last one he could actually remember was a group date with Zoanne, a pretty girl from his Physics class. Unfortunately, he had fallen asleep on the roller coaster they were riding, and she left upset.
This time would go much better. Especially since he wasn't even sure if it was technically a date or not. But he was going to show Quinn that she could have some fun, here in the port. That not everything was bad in this place, and if anything, the food and the people made up for it. It was getting later, the sun starting to set, and Tim ran his fingers through his hair, double checking his face in the glass of the window and ringing up the apartment.
"Hey, Quinn, it's Tim!" He pressed the button again, speaking into the comm.

A moment later she hurried down, leaving a note for Santana and Finn that she'll be back later. Her smile was small but sincere; it'll be nice to do something normal for a change.
"Hi."

Nope. He pulled out a helmet from behind his back, holding it out to her. "You look really nice tonight, and I know this doesn't go with your outfit, but you're going to need this."
no subject
"Oh? What for?"

He took a step back with a grin, gesturing to the motorcycle parked next to the curb.
no subject
"Seriously? Oh my God - I've never been on one of those - !" then glancing his way she grinned a bit, "if you drive quickly just to scare me I'll hit you when we get there."

He offered his hand all gentlemanly-like with a large smile.

"One leg over the side, and balance as best you can on the back; remember to make sure your helmet is one tight. When I get on, slide forward and put your arms around my waist, and then we'll go," He nodded, motioning for her to get on. Once she got on, he'd get on carefully in front of her, putting his own helmet on and checking the engine.

This is going to be so awesome.

He couldn't turn back to ask her how she was, so he raised a hand, the other steadying themselves as he made a thumbs up sign.]

The sirens went off a few minutes before they got to the place, and that was fine. From siren, they had at least seven minutes to get out of the dark, and he smoothly drove into the protective parking garage next to the building. He let the engine come to a halt as he found a decent parking spot in a place that would let the darkness proofing cover the bike.]

There were different tables and booths around, and there were some extremely wonderful smells coming from the kitchen. Tim went to the man at the podium and gave his name with a grin. Following him, the waiter set two menus down at a booth.
"Is this good?" Tim asked Quinn.

Flipping through her menu, her tone remained light, "so, what are the other fortes of this city? I mean, people work right? And I heard there's a school."
no subject
"The schools here are pretty good. There's Hawthorne University, and there's a ton of other ones, like, regular public schools. And people work here. There's a lot of jobs open for people here, which is always nice. What else..." He hummed for a moment. "There's sports teams, and a nice stadium. A really cool video arcade, if that's your thing? Some really nice clubs, and the beach."
no subject
"Alright - what should I get?"
no subject
He set his menu down. "I guess it depends? Red sauce, cheese sauce, vodka sauce... any pasta with sauce... chicken? Beef? I'm a pasta guy myself."
