Summary: A night to mingle at Merlotte's~ Good food, good drink, good music and good people await.
Warnings: idk. This is just a MINGLE POST, full o' action tags. Tag around, baby, and thread-hopping is ~highly encouraged~ There will be bouncers at the door checking ages. Characters 17+ can buy drinks; characters 13-16 will be hand-stamped to show they can't purchase or drink alcohol; characters 12 and under will only be let in with a guardian.

Oh! [He isn't expecting the pull and clamps his hand down harder, pulling back] I am not entirely sure what it is you are doing. [But he continues to tug back] A game?

[allucinator]

[He barks excitedly (though the sound is rather muffled, which lessens the affect). Now Loki's got it. He yanks again, growling loudly, and shakes his head, trying to shake him off.]

I am entirely unsure- [He's giving small, sharp tugs without full strength or weight behind it, letting Jack keep hold of the toy while just giving resistance enough not to lose his footing to take the toy entirely.] -what the purpose of this game is... but ah... if you like it!

[allucinator]

[What doesn't he understand? It's tug of war, it's the best game in the world! Jack would heave a sigh if he could, exasperated at Loki's ignorance, but there's no time for that now. He's got to win. So instead he growls even louder and yanks again, shaking his head wildly.]

[Loki catches on and eventually lets go of the toy after making a large show of Jack having 'yanked' it away] Oh no, you got it! How strong you are. What a good dog.

[And if he's a little bit amused, well, that is to be understood.]

[Good dog good dog good dog-- there's no better words, no better compliment, nothing could compare with good dog. For the first time, Jack truly understands why Padfoot goes so crazy when he says it-- it's the ultimate praise, the best confidence raiser. He's a Good Dog, and there's no arguing that.

Part of him is aware he's making a fool of himself, but he can't help it. This is the best. Pushing forward, he noses against Loki, licking at whatever bit of him he can reach.]

[He frowns slightly] Jack, don't let the dog mind take over your own. As amusing as it is, you have goals, do you not?
