approaching a time that is classic

Who: Finn Hudson [[personal profile] thequarterback] and Crowley [[personal profile] integrity]
When: March 2nd.
Where: The crossroads.
Summary: Finn wants to forget. Crowley can make him forget. For a price.
Warnings: Finn is selling his soul. Um. And Crowley just... automatically gets a warning for existing.

Crowley was waiting for Finn, underneath the overhang of crossing train tracks, carefully scuffing his shoe against the gravel as he waited.

Memories. Easy to remove. And the soul even easier to take.

Peaches.

To say that Finn actually had no idea what he was doing would be pretty accurate. He just didn't care right then. Rachel was still dead, and it still hurt. That there was someone who could help him the way that no one else had been able to seemed almost too good to be true. But he was willing to risk it. It was better than everyone else's offerings of words and dumb solutions that just didn't work.

Finn looked down at the last anonymous text to make sure he was in the right spot, then-- He looked up, sort of squinting to better see the lone man, not that he knew what the nameless person was supposed to look like or anything. "Did you tell me to meet you here?"

"Yeah, that's right." Finn shifted uncomfortably from foot to foot. This all felt strange and somehow wrong.

Didn't matter though.

"I sorta have a question first, though. Forgetting about her death means forgetting everything about it that's happened since then too, right? Not just the death, itself?"

"Yeah. Yeah that's manageable. That's what I was-- I just wanted to make sure, I guess."

He nodded, more for his own benefit than for Crowley's, as though reaffirming that this was, in fact, what he really wanted.

"I already said that I'd pay anything." A brief pause. "But what's the price?"

"My-- Oh."

Finn tried to hide his shock and disbelief but he'd never exactly been too good at keeping all of his thoughts and feelings from his expression. He shoved his hands into his pants pockets and looked down at his shoes.

"If you, um, well what happens to me?"

"I guess forgetting everything associated with her death means forgetting this too, huh? Or...?"

Finn shrugged. It didn't matter. He wasn't even sure this would work, just hoped. It wasn't like he was giving up anything tangible. So if he didn't work, he wasn't losing out, right?

"So, where do I sign?"

LMFAO IT'S OKAY I WAS TOTALLY EXPECTING IT

"This, um, it sorta seems like something I'd want to remember."

Finn's brows furrowed a little when Crowley spoke again. He dug at the gravel with the toe of his sneaker as he considered it.

...it had damn well better be worth it.

"Seriously? ...fine. Whatever I have to do."

HE'S WILLING TO DO WHAT IT TAKES OKAY. ...he just didn't think it would be this (unsure)

"Next-- Why couldn't they just stick to the blood letting?"

He was only half joking. Blood letting seemed to make sense for something like giving up a soul, after all.

"Okay, um." Nodding. "Okay, can we just, um--?"
