The earth is not a mere fragment of dead history
Who: Gohan (
hybrid_prodigy) and Soul (
sonatasedge)
When: Backdated to February 20 (Day at the Museum)
Where: Random sector 3 street
Summary: Prehistoric history is alive! And stampeding down the street.
Warnings: General weirdness? Probably some property damage.
Okay, this was just about the most awesome thing ever.
"Woah, hey! Take a left here!"
And wouldn't you know it, the tyrannousaurus skeleton -- who he'd officially dubbed Proteus, for reasons even he didn't totally understand -- actually listened to him and turned sharply down another street before it managed to step on anyone. And for one reason or another, all of the other animated skeletons, and replicas of woolly mammoths and sabretoothed tigers, had decided that Proteus was their leader, and so they followed suit.
Sure, it was a stampede, but it was a controlled one.
Gohan stood on top of Proteus's skull, keeping an eye out for any more people or obstacles that he needed to steer the group away from. On the way by, he caught sight of a familiar face and grinned, waving happily.
"Hey, Soul! Isn't this awesome?"

no subject
And then he noticed Gohan on top of one of the skulls calling out to him.
"... Yeah." He raises a hand a bit in greeting as he says it, but doesn't wave it back and forth.
Eeeeeesh, so incredibly late, I'm sorry!
But just a hand raised in greeting? Come on. This was way too exciting for just a raised hand. So Gohan decided to try and fix that.
"C'mon, you've gotta get up here! The view is so cool! And Proteus really doesn't mind you riding on his head. See?"
Hm? Oh, wait. There was a car parked on the side of the street. He made a quick little motion in front of what would have been Proteus's eyes if the skeleton had been in possession of any. "Little to the left, guys."
And once again, the stampede listened. It was kinda neat.
omg I'm even later orz I'm sorry /headdesk
But it's cools seeing the kid enjoy himself so much. He also wondered how the hell he was making the undead dinosaurs obey him like that.
