The storm is nothing to fear ....
Who: Claire and Loki (Open to HoA peeps)
When: Whenever Claire Moves into the HoA
Where: HoA
Summary: Claire moves in and Loki is excite that she is safe in the little ant farm.
Warnings: EXCESSIVE AMOUNTS OF CUTE.... no really, nothing.
It wasn't that he trusted Crowley not to take revenge- he didn't trust anyone except his brother- but he knew that when the demon did decide the time was right, vengeance would come down against Magneto himself. But that was a story and a line of thought for another day.
Now, he was simply Keeping Watch- or at least his version of it, a dozen or so magpies around the HoA, scanning with black, unblinking eyes as he tried to teach Thora to breathe fire in the common room. If Deadpool got to kill any intruders, then Loki thought it fair enough for him to use any unfortunate foes for hellhound training.
And now that Claire was here, he supposed that Deadpool would have less Keeping Watch and more Keeping Claire from Going After Sylar or Doing Anything Likewise As Foolish. A well invested venture, he was sure.

Keeping Mr. Muggles in her arms, hair pulled back into a messy bun, Claire made her way towards the common room. She didn't want to be stuck moping around in her new room. Keeping to herself wouldn't be a problem, and she intended to think more on how she would take down Sylar.
"Loki." She raised an eyebrow, surprised, but it wasn't unpleasant. "Hey."

Loki wasn't great at this sort of thing, concern, sympathy. They were foreign, but he was trying because he felt them for Claire in this situation, "You're safe here, you know. More than safe. This is likely the safest place on the island." And of that he was confident.

"I know." She flashed him a small smile. It was a nice change, being able to find some sort of connection and companionship with real friends here. It felt like years since she'd last had a real friend to rely on.
"I think this house is the only place I think could handle the kind of bad luck that follows me."

"But yes, I imagine every resident here- and possibly the house itself- could stand against him on their own- ah perhaps save Youko. But she has sense enough to run and not incite," Loki had no idea the two were already acquainted. It was one of those times his more narrow perception on Youko showed.
"And there's a pool! They even got the mead stains out of the grout," Loki grinned at that. He hadn't helped with that part at all.

Her smile widened into a grin at that. Oh, she remembered that day- and Pickles drinking an entire bath tub of it. Being eternally sober wasn't all that bad, really. "Two months later, huh? Took them long enough."
no subject
"I suppose it was a bit sooner than that, but apparently mead has the tendency to stain," He grinned. "How long are you here for?" He did hope it was permanent.
no subject
"Not too long. Probably a week or two." Helen was the next stop, and then ... well, she wasn't sure about after that. Peter was the next logical one (the first, actually, but he hadn't been around the first time), and possibly the more permanent of her 'couch hopping'. "I don't want to overstay my welcome."
no subject
He thrusts out a lower lip, "Beisdes, it's safe here. And no one would turn you out."
no subject
Not everyone can tolerate Deadpool, y'know.
no subject
"I fail to see the complication. This place is safe, there is plenty of room now," He's not touching that one, he's fairly certain everyone knows about the mass exodus out of here post Magneto's demon destruction session. "Ah- and excellent company."
no subject
She hesitated, glancing down for a brief moment. She looked back up with a grin. "Would you accept an 'it's not you, it's me'?"

"Just what it says- it's not anything you've done, it's all me."
