[Log] It's in the blood
Who: Integra, Alucard, Seras and OPEN to all residents of Helsing Manor.
When: Day of Integra's arrival.
Where: Helsing Manor, Sector 4
Summary: Integra has arrived and been escorted to her new residence by Alucard, time to meet the extended family!
Warnings: Probably safe for kiddies... probably
Integra's arrival had put a certain frantic energy in Seras, an excitement, much akin to what she felt when Alucard had arrived but... unlike Alucard, her Master, Sir Integra was from her time, she knew Seras. There was a relief in that, as much as she was attached to Abraham, Doctor Seward and the young Walter, she sometimes wished to have someone to talk to about the present issues she had been facing in her own world.
Not that Integra had ever really been one to just sit and chat with the young draculina...
Miss Integra's arrival here also reassured Seras that she was alright, something that had bothered her a lot since she had regained her memories. Even if others had said they were always sent back home at the time they were taken she couldn't help a niggling doubt that it wouldn't be so. What if something happened because she wasn't there? What if she let Master and Sir Integra down, even if it wasn't her fault really.
She shook those thoughts out of her head. Seras had gone and retrieved the requested aspirin, as well as hurried to inform the other members of the house of the impending arrival if they hadn't yet seen the network post and now stood waiting in the entrance hall with no small amount of impatience.

Looking back at Alucard, she merely hummed in thought. Speak freely? Absolutely not. She wasn't sure how this Alucard, partnered with the young Butler, would react to the news, or if he'd even believe her. And Seras... no. She couldn't, and wouldn't, do that to the draculina.
"There's nothing else to say about it," she replied to him finally, leaning back in her seat. "London is destroyed because of the Major, and Seras and I need to return as soon as possible to finish him."
She would have to keep her thoughts tightly concealed, lest Alucard attempt to break into her mind and find things out on his own.

Then she nodded in conclusion to Integra's words. "That's exactly it, things are... were, bad, back there." An understatement to be sure. "We need to defeat them."
Finally and completely.
She hadn't said anything about her present to anyone here except for the vaguest mentions. Seras couldn't comprehend how they would react, except badly and then sitting knowing it would happen and they couldn't do anything about it...

Looking back up at the two, Integra nodded. "From the point that you remember, things have gotten worse. We were so close to ending things... and then this."
In a way, this was sort of nice, having someone -- or rather, two someones, to vent to about her situation, even if she was only slightly venting.
"Alucard... you know of the Major as well, don't you?"
no subject
She tensed to here it had gotten worse. "Bloody hell."

He had been promised war and given Canada, it was not a fair trade in the slightest. Especially when he was to see the supernaturals were public knowledge and the policing of them no longer Hellsing's domain.

Running a single, gloved digit around the rim of her cup, Integra began to reply to Alucard, "It doesn't matter, you didn't rain hard enough. Perhaps if we're all lucky, he will eventually present himself to us here."
Or unlucky, considering the little bastard was a slippery one.
no subject
Be it the Major or another, there was certainly one she'd already killed that Seras wouldn't mind putting to the wall again. Literally.
"So far there's no enemy from our world that's showed. Not in all the time Mr. Van Helsing and Walter have been here either."
no subject
And perhaps he was getting a bit worked up at that thought.
no subject
She'd expected to hear that from Alucard, but to hear it from Seras... well. It was still a bit shocking. Good, but shocking.
"Perhaps we should make a plan of action, just in case he does show up, hm?"
no subject
"I think that would be prudent, Miss Integra."
no subject
He was only half teasing.

Finishing her tea, she could feel her headache from earlier ebbing away, which was good. "Still, for now I suppose that is a good enough plan."
no subject
Something that Seras still found odd, even though she'd been to it.
"I joined the police force here, with your grandfather's permission."
no subject
Then inclined his head, "A club with live feedings. The different vampires operate on different sets of rules than the ones we are used to." He looked at Seras fondly, she adapted well, held her sanity. Now to just press her to release more of that potential.
no subject
Seras' statement had her blinking, and then she chuckled finally. Poor Seras, forever the Police Girl, even here.
"I'm not surprised, Police Girl, considering your background. Does it feel good to be a police officer again?"
no subject
At the sight of Integra, however, the young butler gave pause. She had grown— and quite a bit from the girl who was physically two years his junior. She was even taller than him now; by a handful of inches, if he wasn't mistaken.
"...Sir."
Walter was nervous. It showed in the way the curl of his fingers tightened ever so slightly on the handles of the silver serving tray, and how his stance became just a little rigid.
If she had grown up, did she even remember him as he was here? Or had he returned to merely being a black and white image in a picture from an old family album...?
"I've prepared some sandwiches, if you're hungry."
no subject
Ah, there it was, 'Police Girl'. She'd actually missed it, oddly, as much as she always professed to hate being called by that moniker at home. Perhaps it was that the nickname was in itself a part of home, familiar and comforting.
Now if only Alucard didn't pick it up...
"Oh, hello Walter." she turned her head and smiled cheerfully (and reassuringly) at the teenager. Seras had wondered when he'd appear, though she couldn't blame him for hesitating, a grown Integra was likely much different than the young girl he'd told her about.
no subject
The grin widened as Walter entered and the vampire noted the tightening of Walter's fingers on the tray handles, "Nervous, Angel of Death?"
no subject
This wasn't as painful as she'd thought it would be. This wasn't her Walter. He wasn't like that here. He was different. In her mind, at least, that was what she would keep telling herself.
"...Walter," she murmured in a quiet greeting. Alucard and Seras weren't the only ones to catch onto Walter's nervousness. "Thank you, you didn't have to do that for me."
no subject
He was back to nervousness.
"I wanted to."
He pauses, thinking a moment to himself before adding. "I can return them to the kitchen, if you'd like."
no subject
Not to mention that her hopes not to be 'Police girl' again seemed to have been dashed. But it wasn't like she hadn't signed herself up for it by joining the SPD.
Her eyes though watched Integra's reaction at seeing Walter this way...
no subject
He rocked up onto his tip-toes, eyes glowing red and amused over Walter's shoulder as he stared at Seras.
no subject
When Walter spoke, she merely shook her head. Despite everything at home... no. She could not bring herself to be angry with him. She would simply use the time that they had together here to her advantage.
"No, it's fine. Thank you," she told him again, gesturing him into the room. "Alucard, leave him be," she added, frowning at the vampire, before her gaze moved back over to Walter. "Come, sit with us for a while."
no subject
Instead, Walter merely glared over his shoulder at his diminutive partner before moving to follow Integra's directions. Once he reached the table he set the tray upon the surface and took for himself the seat Alucard had only recently risen from; a subtle gesture of revenge for his partner's teasing.
But there was little time to savour his small victory; now that he was up close, the smudge of half-dried blood was clearly visible now that her golden hair no longer blocked it from his vision. Quickly, his eyes flicked over to the med kit resting on the table surface, to the pain killers beside it, and back to his master's daughter.
He was already rising out of the seat.
"What happened?"
