[Log] It's in the blood

Who: Integra, Alucard, Seras and OPEN to all residents of Helsing Manor.
When: Day of Integra's arrival.
Where: Helsing Manor, Sector 4
Summary: Integra has arrived and been escorted to her new residence by Alucard, time to meet the extended family!
Warnings: Probably safe for kiddies... probably

Integra's arrival had put a certain frantic energy in Seras, an excitement, much akin to what she felt when Alucard had arrived but... unlike Alucard, her Master, Sir Integra was from her time, she knew Seras. There was a relief in that, as much as she was attached to Abraham, Doctor Seward and the young Walter, she sometimes wished to have someone to talk to about the present issues she had been facing in her own world.

Not that Integra had ever really been one to just sit and chat with the young draculina...

Miss Integra's arrival here also reassured Seras that she was alright, something that had bothered her a lot since she had regained her memories. Even if others had said they were always sent back home at the time they were taken she couldn't help a niggling doubt that it wouldn't be so. What if something happened because she wasn't there? What if she let Master and Sir Integra down, even if it wasn't her fault really.

She shook those thoughts out of her head. Seras had gone and retrieved the requested aspirin, as well as hurried to inform the other members of the house of the impending arrival if they hadn't yet seen the network post and now stood waiting in the entrance hall with no small amount of impatience.

Integra nodded to Seras. "Mm. How very strange this place is... you have been here, and yet I just saw you at home."

Looking back at Alucard, she merely hummed in thought. Speak freely? Absolutely not. She wasn't sure how this Alucard, partnered with the young Butler, would react to the news, or if he'd even believe her. And Seras... no. She couldn't, and wouldn't, do that to the draculina.

"There's nothing else to say about it," she replied to him finally, leaning back in her seat. "London is destroyed because of the Major, and Seras and I need to return as soon as possible to finish him."

She would have to keep her thoughts tightly concealed, lest Alucard attempt to break into her mind and find things out on his own.

Alucard would likely react poorly to learning what happened with Walter, best not to tell him. For now, he lapsed back to silence and let the two reacquaint.

"Two years? How very strange indeed," she murmured into her teacup as she took another sip, listening intently to Seras' story. "Do you think that all resulted because of this place, Seras?"

Looking back up at the two, Integra nodded. "From the point that you remember, things have gotten worse. We were so close to ending things... and then this."

In a way, this was sort of nice, having someone -- or rather, two someones, to vent to about her situation, even if she was only slightly venting.

"Alucard... you know of the Major as well, don't you?"
tinyvampiregod: (Meh)

"I was about to go rain on the Major's parade when I found myself here," And the fact that he was here, on an island in Canada instead of glorying in bloody war and death in Poland held disdain thick in his voice, curled up one corner of his mouth in a sneer.

He had been promised war and given Canada, it was not a fair trade in the slightest. Especially when he was to see the supernaturals were public knowledge and the policing of them no longer Hellsing's domain.

"Mm... well. At least, for now, we are all together, I suppose," she supplied in response to Seras, staring down into her tea. Somehow, she had a feeling this would be a long stay.

Running a single, gloved digit around the rim of her cup, Integra began to reply to Alucard, "It doesn't matter, you didn't rain hard enough. Perhaps if we're all lucky, he will eventually present himself to us here."

Or unlucky, considering the little bastard was a slippery one.

"If the Major survives then he's an old man, or no longer human in your time," Alucard mused, rocking from heels to his tip toes and back. "And if he comes here, we will annihilate him." Red eyes flared as he looked to Seras, mouth pulling up at the corners to show fangs, "We will fall on him as true Nosferatu and make his soul cry out for the hell that awaits him just to escape us."

And perhaps he was getting a bit worked up at that thought.
integra_hellsing: (and what are -your- kinks)

[personal profile] integra_hellsing 2012-03-24 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
"Then I can only hope he DOES arrive here, since you two seem so eager to be rid of him, just like me," she supplied, crossing her left leg over her right.

She'd expected to hear that from Alucard, but to hear it from Seras... well. It was still a bit shocking. Good, but shocking.

"Perhaps we should make a plan of action, just in case he does show up, hm?"

"Taken him by surprise, on the baseball diamond," Alucard turned and tipped his head, watching Integral from the corners of his eyes, red irises glowing in the dim light of the room. "Plan enough."

He was only half teasing.

Integra snorted. "Yes, lovely idea. We'll just go out there and sit there forever until he decides to show up, Alucard."

Finishing her tea, she could feel her headache from earlier ebbing away, which was good. "Still, for now I suppose that is a good enough plan."
tinyvampiregod: (Thinking)

He chuckled, "I don't mean wait for him there." More like, if he shows up, just Search and Destroy.

Then inclined his head, "A club with live feedings. The different vampires operate on different sets of rules than the ones we are used to." He looked at Seras fondly, she adapted well, held her sanity. Now to just press her to release more of that potential.
integra_hellsing: (perhaps a little sly)

Integra sighed, pushing her glasses back up the bridge of her nose. Seras had the right idea, indeed -- this was enough information, for sure, for one day. "Vampire clubs... well. Considering the 'darkness', or whatever the bloody hell it is, it isn't a big shock."

Seras' statement had her blinking, and then she chuckled finally. Poor Seras, forever the Police Girl, even here.

"I'm not surprised, Police Girl, considering your background. Does it feel good to be a police officer again?"

It was at that point in time that Walter made his appearance. His footsteps providing a moment's warning from the hall, he crossed the threshhold shortly thereafter with a tray of tea sandwiches in his arms.

At the sight of Integra, however, the young butler gave pause. She had grown— and quite a bit from the girl who was physically two years his junior. She was even taller than him now; by a handful of inches, if he wasn't mistaken.

"...Sir."

Walter was nervous. It showed in the way the curl of his fingers tightened ever so slightly on the handles of the silver serving tray, and how his stance became just a little rigid.

If she had grown up, did she even remember him as he was here? Or had he returned to merely being a black and white image in a picture from an old family album...?

"I've prepared some sandwiches, if you're hungry."

His grin widened, "Aha- Police Girl is it?" Alucard caught right onto that nickname and he intended to keep it, give the fledgling a taste of home. Or to just taunt her in his own way.

The grin widened as Walter entered and the vampire noted the tightening of Walter's fingers on the tray handles, "Nervous, Angel of Death?"

Before Integra could lightly tease the draculina again, Walter's voice rang through the air, and she straightened up again. Turning her gaze onto him, she had to stare for a moment. She'd seen pictures of Walter as a young man, yes, but obviously she had never been around him in such a state.

This wasn't as painful as she'd thought it would be. This wasn't her Walter. He wasn't like that here. He was different. In her mind, at least, that was what she would keep telling herself.

"...Walter," she murmured in a quiet greeting. Alucard and Seras weren't the only ones to catch onto Walter's nervousness. "Thank you, you didn't have to do that for me."
angel_of_death: (Anxiety gnawing at me)

[personal profile] angel_of_death 2012-03-24 09:30 am (UTC)(link)
The reassuring smile from Seras bolstered his confidence slightly, but whatever sign of alleviating tension Walter had was instantly wiped away at his partner's teasing and replaced with a glower in the older vampire's direction, which in turn faded with similar swiftness from his features once Integra addressed him.

He was back to nervousness.

"I wanted to."

He pauses, thinking a moment to himself before adding. "I can return them to the kitchen, if you'd like."
tinyvampiregod: (Shhh)

[personal profile] tinyvampiregod 2012-03-24 07:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Alucard pursed his mouth at Walter, barely containing the childish glee in his expression at the glower he received, "She doesn't bite, Angel of Death." Tone chiding mildly, words almost a sing-song in that high, child's voice, "No need to excuse yourself." Already starting to take liberties with this Hellsing, moving to stand by Walter in a physical crowding of his space and barring of his route of retreat.

He rocked up onto his tip-toes, eyes glowing red and amused over Walter's shoulder as he stared at Seras.
integra_hellsing: (whatever you say)

[personal profile] integra_hellsing 2012-03-25 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
Integra didn't bother scolding Alucard, or throw threats his way. She was too busy studying the younger version of the man who had raised her.

When Walter spoke, she merely shook her head. Despite everything at home... no. She could not bring herself to be angry with him. She would simply use the time that they had together here to her advantage.

"No, it's fine. Thank you," she told him again, gesturing him into the room. "Alucard, leave him be," she added, frowning at the vampire, before her gaze moved back over to Walter. "Come, sit with us for a while."
angel_of_death: (Alarming news)

[personal profile] angel_of_death 2012-03-25 11:20 am (UTC)(link)
Walter had just been about to question Alucard— knowing full well what would happen if he tried— as to whether he would care to eat the sandwiches instead, as it would be unfortunate if they were left out at room temperature for too long. Fortunately, however, Integra interjected— thus sparing the household of one of the hunting pair's notorious escalating contests of sardonic wit... for the time being.

Instead, Walter merely glared over his shoulder at his diminutive partner before moving to follow Integra's directions. Once he reached the table he set the tray upon the surface and took for himself the seat Alucard had only recently risen from; a subtle gesture of revenge for his partner's teasing.

But there was little time to savour his small victory; now that he was up close, the smudge of half-dried blood was clearly visible now that her golden hair no longer blocked it from his vision. Quickly, his eyes flicked over to the med kit resting on the table surface, to the pain killers beside it, and back to his master's daughter.

He was already rising out of the seat.

"What happened?"
