The apartment doesn't have a name yet....
Who: Tim Drake, Blaine Anderson, Cass Cain, Conner Kent, Tavi, and everyone else who was invited by them! We don't have a cool apartment name, yet.
When: Friday, March 23rd, starting at 7:00pm.
Where: The apartment in Sector 10.
Summary: It's a "Breaking Down The Walls" party!
Warnings: Will update as needed.
Tim had woken up a few days ago and realized that they didn't have enough room for everyone. Cass had her room, and Tim had a room, but everyone else was sleeping on a cot or on the couch, and that just wasn't right. Both Blaine and Tavi deserved their own rooms, and so did Conner, now that he was here; it was actually his arrival that spurred on the need that Tim had to get everyone a room. His friends deserved more then a couch.
While they had been squatting in the apartment, in the beginning, by this point Tim had been paying for the apartment and everything else that was needed in it. And while he had made a deal with the man in charge of the warehouse down in sector 11, he had used his money to buy up the apartments on either side of their own. So, when he went and asked the owner if it would be okay to enlarge their apartment, and the owner didn't care, as long as they paid for everything... well. That meant it was time to have some fun.
So, while Conner could punch through walls if he wanted to, Tim bought up mallets and hammers for everyone else. They were going to have a party and break down some walls.

She's good, though. Even if this is some alternate version of her.

So, you are not the same Blaine that Kurt knows, for example.

Here. I can explain it with these sandwiches! Okay. Now, this sandwich, which is... [He looked at it for a second.] Okay, tuna. Pretend you are this tuna sandwich, and I am this cheese sandwich. Kurt is this ham sandwich, and Cass is this turkey sandwich. And then we'll add... Franz, and he is the bologna sandwich.
[He lines up the sandwiches.] So, you can see that the tuna and the ham have the same white bread, and the turkey and the cheese have the same wheat bread. The bologna has some kind of weird crusty bread. Now, we put the tuna and the ham together, because they share the same past, as in the past you and Kurt have back home, and the same kind of bread for the sandwiches. And since the turkey and the cheese sandwiches have the same bread, me and Cass have the same past.
[Now, he picks up all the sandwiches and puts them on the same platter] This plate is Siren's Port. We all get pulled here, so we end up in the same place, with the same kind of memories as the people who have the same kind of bread. But now, since we're all in one place, the bread doesn't matter as much. What matters is that you are not a ham sandwich, and Kurt is not tuna. These little differences are what makes you alternate versions of the people that you know back home. Because if you were the same person? Then you and Kurt would both be ham sandwiches.

When the Port pulled us back home he had the same experiences. We're caught up to each other at the exact same moment. Why couldn't we be the same versions of each other we had back home?
[After a moment] The thing that gives me a headache is the possibility that I was cheating on Kurt with Kurt. [He grins a bit, because that just sounds so crazy. Even the sandwich metaphor sounds crazy.]

From what we've seen with others, time stands still, back home, when you come here. Did you and Kurt come to the port at different times? Not when you were pulled back home, but when you first showed up here.
[Tim grins.] Yeah, well. You might not want to tell him that.

[Grins.] That's a good thing.

So I'm glad you guys are finally getting more space. If you had anymore strays you'd have to open a shelter.

Me, too. Cass might be staying out a little more, but that still left us with a few too many people on cots. And that's not really fair.

[He pauses.] Look, just knowing you two, I know that you and Kurt might try to have a relationship again. And you should. But, maybe not moving in together again would be smart. Not that you have to take my advice or anything. But just know that you can be here for whatever, whenever.

It's nice to hear someone else say it though.

Just taking things slow. I know if I was dating someone, I'd want it to go slow. Really get to know the person. What's that phrase... rose tinted glasses? And you see what you want to see, but not what you need to see.

Now? Most of the time I'm not so sure. I just keep seeing all of these stupid mistakes happening over and over.

Not that it's easy. Don't even think for a second that I'm saying that, because it's so hard, and it sucks, and I know that. Things are always a little hinky when you have to let go of what makes you sad. I haven't let go of most of it. There's so much stuff I did, that I think about, and I just... hare myself for it. Which is what you do, right?
[He smiles a little.] Maybe you just need a good cry on top of a gargoyle in the rain. Works every time.
