I want to punch you in the face
Who: Lisbeth Salander and Loki
When: After the sirens, March 23rd
Where: An arcade in the North Point Carnival Grounds
Summary: Lisbeth likes to play video games to beat high scores. Enter Loki who will endlessly push her buttons.
Warnings: Language
Lisbeth was tired of running back to her apartment a few minutes before sirens went off before night. She remembered and underground mall being mentioned in one of her posts. Lisbeth searched for it until she found an entrance in Sector 3. She climbed down the steps just before sirens went off for the night and decided that she would spend the night in one of the hotels. She needed a night off from the network anyway. It was filled with people still in denial of their situation. So she wandered around, got a taco at a "Taco Bell" which was absolutely divine to the Swedish girl, until she found a rather colorful place.
She saw numerous video games lining up the walls and people lining up in front of change machines. Dumping her trash on the floor, Lisbeth walked into the arcade. Well this looked fun. Reaching into her pocket, she stood behind a little boy at the change machine to get her quarters.

Really, he thought, Youko ought to learn she needn't worry about money when he could do this. Besides, it didn't count as breaking the law and being evil since he'd been brought here against his will.
Sound logic, in his opinion.
Turning, he almost ran into the slender girl behind him, arching a brow to say something mildly insulting he paused as he saw her face.
Then smirked.
And tipped his head.
Finally saying, "Well met, Lisbeth."
omg so I was sitting here thinking I'd replied. I'm so sorry.
Of course.
What was she expecting? That she would never run into the people on the network? Lisbeth wasn't naive.
Still, Loki's presence unsettled her. He knew her name, for one.
"Isn't it past your bedtime?"
LOL s'cool
Loki could tell from her expression that she was surprised to have been found out in person, he leaned in, giving a conspiratorial stage whisper, "I suppose you thought never to be identified in public? How funny then, that you had occasion to, above all, identify yourself to the God of Mischief and Chaos. Do you like a bit of Chaos, Lisbeth? I think you do."
no subject
Yes she did. And no he wasn't going to get an answer.
"It figures a god of mischief and chaos would come in the form of a hormonal teenage boy," she said, changing the subject. "Move." Lisbeth pushed past him and put her loose bills into the change machine. It spit out three dollars in quarters in response.

His huff faded to a grin, "Hey, why don't you play me at a game, if you win, uh- I'll give you something cool." He did intend to cheat and win, of course.
no subject
"I don't care for a prize," she said. "But I guess we'll see who gets a high score."
no subject
Waving a hand in dismissal for her steely gaze he inclined his head, "For the high score, then. Though do not be terribly upset when I trounce you entirely." And smiled at her in a cross between innocence and utter smug.

Lisbeth's eyes followed him, her lips pursed tightly. She had half the mind to go up and jump on his back for assuming she was younger than her 23 years, but she calmed down. She turned back to Loki. "Let's go, asshole," she snapped.
no subject
He huffed at her and led the way to an arcade double shooter game, "Asshole? Tch. Only to some people." And grinned. "Okay, which side do you want. I will let you pick first in the name of impartiality. Or something."

no subject
Except that Lisbeth's gun kept jerking to the side when bad guys approached her. And Loki was grinning. "Such poor aim! You'd never make it as a valkyrie!" And laughed.
no subject
This game was bullshit.
no subject
Loki leaned over slightly to nudge her with his shoulder, knocking her aim even more askew. "Lucky I'm here or you would be zombie chow IRL." And the smug was palpable.
no subject
She looked down at her quarters. She didn't want to waste them all on this game.
"Let's play something else. I only have two dollars left."
no subject
And grinned. But, in his own apologetic way, reached out with his magic and returned her quarters to her from the machine. Was it wrong in his mind? No. If other people could do it, they surely would.
no subject
"Maybe you're not so bad. But how about that one?" She pointed behind Loki to a fighting game. "Best two out of three."
