Who: Eric Northman and assorted paying guests When: Saturday, March 24th, Sirens-Dawn Where: Fangtasia bar and nightclub Summary: Fangtasia open log - Cowboys and Indians night. Warnings: Added to comment headers
[Well, he's here to see Eric privately and he hadn't checked the network beforehand, so the party comes as a surprise. He doesn't like surprises. The expression on his face is especially grumpy while he makes his way through a crowd that's even larger than it usually is on a Saturday night. Feel free to grab him on the way to his destination.]
[Perhaps bad luck that you'd run into her right now, Shika. Seras' face lights up as she spots you. Shika, how are you? Did you move back into your place, alright? [Tilts her head as she notices that grump.]
[Maybe it's lucky that Seras is here. After all, if he gets into trouble, he can count on her for a swift rescue. But she doesn't know about his real business here, so it's difficult to be glad to see her. He isn't sure how she'd feel about his V habit. The using or the selling.]
[ Well you know what they say about it being easier to disappear into a crowd. Eric catches sight of Shikamaru and waits for him at the door to the basement until he's halfway across the floor, then vanishes down into the darkness below the club to wait for him.
He's humming and tracing bloodied scratches in the wooden table with his fingertips when Shika appears. ]
[The truth is that he hates this basement. He's careful about not letting it show on his face, but he can't help the way his pulse quickens when he makes his descent. The place frightens him the same way AGI's training facility frightened him. But that's the entire point, isn't it?
He busies himself with pulling a roll of cash from his jacket. Not interested in small talk, straight to business as usual.]
[At this point Seras has found a seat in the corner of the bar, a glass of blood in front of her and mostly watching the comings and goings. Consider this a moment she's lost Alucard in the crowd (or more accurately, he probably lost her) and she can approached alone.
She hasn't dressed up the theme, just a nice top and mini-skirt, seems to be mostly bemused the costumes and the country music. She's very much trying not to look at the hired dancer.]
[ She sees you there, Seras. She's not going to get up or greet you, no. She's going to stay right where she is, on the other corner of the bar.
Seras, unlike certain others, does not need supervision. Still, she's there if the draculina should run into problems or need assistance. That, fortunately, is very unlikely. ]
[ Eric serves drinks sometimes, just because it lets him mingle in amongst the revellers, and he comes easily to her end of the bar, leaning against it. The red lights along the bar make everything slightly eerie, except in this case they just make his pink, glittery cowboy hat stand out all the more, glancing red light off the pink glitter. ]
[It was actually her first time here, though she had grown so very curious for some time now. She kept putting it off because of other things coming up, here or there. That and she wasn't much of a night club person, though she did find great enjoyment of people watching in places like this.]
[This place however had got her attention more then others. Because of events back on the other island she had learned her luck didn't work on Vampires, unless they took her blood, and though her blood tasted good, it did bad things to Vampires. She didn't expect to let anyone bite her, but she knew she was safe here for the most part. No one would be effected by her bad luck, and she could enjoy an evening, right?]
[The girl was dressed up nicely. Fitted button up shirt, short denim skirt over thin leggings and wedged heel ankle boots. Her hair wasn't curled for a change. Instead she had to extremely long black thick braids down her back. It might not be a costume but it worked for her.]
[She might not be twenty-one yet, but she was only a few months behind that, and the drinking age here was much younger anyhow. Drink in hand she found some place to the side to sit, perch for a bit and enjoy, watching the others as they went on with their night.]
[ Some kind of dancing is getting underway, though it isn't exactly what Eric had in mind. He lets the distraction of movement keep the peace for a few minutes, because if there's anything in the world that soothes the savage beast its dancing, and so very little ever happens that needs his full attention.
It gives him a chance to move around and take stock of new faces, and he found himself quietly to Himawari where she sat alone, leaning against the wall himself. ]
[Dorian Gray had spent most of his first few weeks learning how to use the appliances in his apartment, getting acquainted with with some of his neighbors, and so on.
He'd read about vampires in penny dreadfuls. Some of them were quite sensual and exciting. Naturally, he didn't take such things seriously. He assumed that the mention of vampires was in keeping with the mention of costumes. And why not?
He made sure the High Victorian suit he came in was well pressed, and came a little late in order to make an entrance.]
[ Mr. Gray, you missed out on a real party coming even a little late. Murderface isn't dressed up, and even has old stains on his shirt. He isn't drunk yet, but he has four drinks somehow in his hands, making his way back to the bar for some peanuts.
Oops, he might have bumped in Dorian and spilled some booze on his suit. ]
[ And will be instantly at home, considering High Victorian seems to be a backup theme among the usual Saturday night clientele. But Eric knows that clientele almost to heart, so he recognises a newcomer, lets the deliberate latecoming draw his attention the way it was clearly meant to, stepping out behind his right shoulder. ]
[He's successfully lost Seras in the crowd and misplaced his Walter for the moment- a petite creature clad in white with ink black hair and glowing red eyes. He's been here before, taken the tour from Eric in a way, but now he is here for reconnaissance or the like.
The press of life is one thing, but the press of unlife, the smell of blood lingering in the air- it's enough to make his blood boil and hope something goes down that will spill all of the blood.]
[ You may have lost those two, Alucard, but you can't lose Integra. As a matter of fact, she's spotted him from her corner table.
Eyes narrowing, she merely watches him, not bothering to get up. You wanted supervision, dearest Servant, and that is exactly what you'll be getting. ]
[ It's telling that there's literally blood on Eric's hands when he comes across Alucard for the first time tonight, and he tilts his head in a delicate greeting. ]
If you're here for a fight, I'm sorry that you missed it.
[ Guess who has decided to show up after all? The stoic Hellsing woman does not at all look thrilled to be here. She is not dressed up for the occasion, either. No, she's just wearing her normal attire.
In her opinion, the music is too loud, there are FAR too many people and vampires for her taste. Integra isn't the most social person, unless she is called to the battlefield... but that still isn't something a normal person would consider being social.
So enjoy, ladies and gentleman, the feel of her eyes staring at you and studying you quietly. ]
[ He's used to being studied, invites it even, because as the owner of this club, keeping command means keeping a certain thrall over his clientele, and to that end he moves as a confident predator, a master of his domain, afraid of nothing, and occasionally that means moving faster than the eye can see, deliberately making a point of his power being demonstrable. He can be at one end of the club and then a moment later at the other, and when he goes from watched to acknowledging the watcher, it's sudden and immediate, lowering himself into the chair opposite without invitation. ]
I take it from your expression that you don't see anything you like.
[Deadpool pauses by Integra for a moment. This was someone who didn't seem like she was really enjoying the whole scene here. He'd seen a few people like this, who weren't sure what exactly to make of the place. Looked like one of those deep thinkers.]
Penny for your thoughts, M'aam?
[He pauses for a second, and then grabs himself a skotch on the rocks and places it front of her]
On second thought, glass of skotch on the house for your thoughts?
[This was the first time Walter had ever set foot into the place. And he wasn't impressed. From the tasteless name to the tasteless music to the tasteless dancing— not to mention the tasteless way some of the attendees attempted to solicit donations of live blood— he'd not been there two minutes before the atmosphere had left him hankering for a cigaratte.
His pause to sift through his inner pockets for his lighter and one of the Woodbines he'd brought along was all it took to become separated from his eagerly wandering partner. Fortunately, it's just as good as an excuse as any to keep tabs on the crowd; if anyone happened to ask any questions regarding to his lack of participation, all he had to do was say that he was looking for his 'date'.]
[ Well, well. So Alucard really did drag poor Walter into this. Integra took notice of him soon enough, and without bothering to address the poor waitress who had approached her table, she moved over to stand next to the young butler.
As much as she wanted to point out that, in her opinion, he was far too young to be smoking, she didn't. He'd always done this, and considering his age at home, it apparently hadn't bothered him too much... plus, really, the same could be said for her.
So instead of pointing the obvious out, she pulled out a cigar of her own. ]
This is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen. [ She gestured to... well. Everything. ] I cannot see the entertainment value here.
[After a brief look around, he'd trotted back over to Walter, now sporting a ridiculous white cowboy hat with rhinestones that caught and reflected what light there was in the dimness of the club]
Not quite the den of inequity I was expecting, but still sickening in so many ways. [That humans would abase themselves as sheep to the hungry jaws of the wolves- Meh.]
[ It's lucky this is a vampire bar, and so half the patrons are dead and the other half have death wishes anyway, because there's few ways to circulate air after the sirens have called and all the doors are closed. As a result there's a fine white mist hanging over everything, slowly moving where the twisting on the dancefloor disturbs it.
