Who: Claire and Shikamaru
When: morning of the 3rd of April
Where: Shikamaru's place
What: Shika's hooking her up with some more paper bombs.
Warnings: None?

[ Claire didn't know what she would do with the extra paper bombs. She wasn't actively trying to seek out Sylar, instead trying to ... what? Call a truce, a peace treaty of some sort? But if he decided not to honor that, she wouldn't be caught off-guard. Not this time.

She waited for a few moments in the car before turning off the ignition, pulling herself out of her thoughts. For some reason, she wasn't surprised he lived in a place like this; not that it was bad, of course. She knocked on the door, adjusting her weight onto her right leg, waiting. ]

[Shikamaru had already been up for several hours. Exploding tags were obviously easier to construct than mechanical bombs, but they still took a while to produce by hand. The door swung open on its own, activated by remote control, because it'd be too much of a hassle for Shikamaru to get up. But he was within view, sitting in the middle of the floor with a stack of rice paper charms, brushes, and a pot of special ink he'd prepared for this.]

Hey. Get comfortable. Still got a few of these to make.

[Sylar would be in big trouble if he decided to pay a visit. The door wasn't the only automated security device Shikamaru set up in the apartment.

Thankfully, it was just the two of them in the spartan loft with one big pile of art supplies/bomb materials.]

Prepare to be bored.

[He was halfway through painting a tag with the appropriate sigils, and it was tedious and detailed work.]

Did you just get back?

[Much like constructing real bombs, the process was mostly about care and precision. Even if it looked more like art than science. When he finished that one, he set it aside to dry and moved on to the next paper.]

Anything interesting happen while you were there?
