He'd made appointments with various people. He was going to keep them. But even still, he was looking entirely well. He'd lost a little weight, was tense, and mostly very still. Except his eyes. They never stopped moving.

"I've done that before." He wasn't going to judge, he'd managed to give himself alcohol poisoning on a few occasions. As well as wandering around getting his head together.

"What are you going to be working on?"

A smile. She knew he'd understand. He always did.

"Morning tai chi, meditation." That was just a start. "I need to start drawing again, planning things. Even though Frances is gone, I'd like to work on his apartment. Maybe decorate the other apartments. Make this place more a home than just a flop house for Newcomers." She yawned and closed her eyes. "Get back into sewing, and home decorating."

Some things Mutants just understand.

"Sounds like a good plan. I should probably start meditating again." It would help keep him centred, which he knew was sliding around again.

"Do you know how to do a suede technique?"

"Meditation helped settle me a lot." She could admit that. She shrugged. "It can't hurt. Any sunrise, we could go to a beach. It's not like the Darkness would bother us."

She frowned for a moment. "It's been a while since I did it. Paris, at least." She hadn't worked with suede since then and only for that one design course.

"It does. It's something I learned in India. That's a good idea. I miss the stars at night." Which was part, though only part, of why he's latched onto Lucifer so hard.

"No, it's a paint technique. It feels and looks like suede when it's dried."

She smiled. "We should spend more nights in the greenhouse, but it's not quite big enough." Because she loved sleeping out under the stars. Thanks to Logan.

A head shake. "No. I've heard of it, but I've never done it." Glance up. "Why?"

"We should build a bigger one." He was serious. He'd wanted more space for a while.

"I was thinking of doing it on some of my walls." The window seat and his bedroom, mostly.

She smelled a project. "How big are we talking?" Because she knew, if left to his own devices, Magneto would take over most of a sector just because. And that was being cautious on the estimate. (Alright, he'd take over the island, but that was a separate issue.)

"Sorry. I've never done it. I can study it, see if I can get it right, if you're willing to be patient?" No reason she couldn't study something, after all.

"A whole building with a few floors?" He wanted more but was trying to be realistic. And it would give him a reason to stay indoors.

"Paint's cheap. And we have plenty of wall space to practise on." It was fairly easy, from what he remembered.

Jubilee thought for a few minutes. Her mind start calling up the surrounding area, and where they could put it. "If we've got a place big enough to put it. No reason it can't be as tall as this place, with a catwalk roof access from the current greenhouse..." Trail off and continue thinking. "Are we talking greenhouse or like one of those zoo rainforest thingies?" Because she wanted the latter.

"Nah, work on canvas first, then walls. See what the what is. Shouldn't be too hard."

That was his idea as well. A building close by they could snap up and fix up. He needed a project. "Zoo rainforest thingies" A smile, and a small laugh. "Not all rainforest but...different levels, paths and trails, a couple water features."

"Sure. You're the expert."

"As long as there is definite sunning areas, I'm totally cool. It's not the same in the Danger Room." And it wasn't. Sure, she could get a tan, but...

"The entire top deck, certainly. And others through out. If we can get carbon for the House, she'll make us diamond pans with nano tech. So we can see out but no one else can see in and the like. We'll need rocks too." His voice settled as he spoke. Planning anything helped calm him.

Jubilee felt herself relax as he did. "Are you telling me that there's going to be nude sunbathing? Because I can totally get behind this idea."

A lot, actually. She really wanted to get into it again, because her tan was fading.

"Rocks should be fairly easy to get. Carbon... might be a little harder."

"It's us. I though nude sunbathing goes without saying?"

He didn't relax anywhere near enough but he did relax.

"Carbon wouldn't be too difficult, anything organic which is burned." He'd been hoarding some anyway. Transport was more an issue.

"It's Ororo's influence. Although in my case, it's also Wolvie's." She shrugged. "Be a mutant long enough and you've been in enough fights, eventually you end up without clothes." It happened to all of them. A lot, actually.

"What about the one kid?" Jubilee asked. "Don't his powers have something to do with fire or something?"

"Beyond a doubt." He smiled. "Very much so. True with most combatants, though few others would understand."

He had to think for a second. "Kevin? No. He breaks down carbon. But I know a native with them."
