Peaking back into the world

Who: Magneto and to be updated
When: Week of 4-10 through 4-15
Where: Mostly the HoA, a few others
Summary: Mags is talking to people again. A few people want to see him in person
Warnings: Will be updated
Other: Tag in with when you are meeting/where ok?

He'd made appointments with various people. He was going to keep them. But even still, he was looking entirely well. He'd lost a little weight, was tense, and mostly very still. Except his eyes. They never stopped moving.

"You look terrible," Loki replied cheerfully. "Aren't the angels feeding you? Allowing you to sleep? Ah- giving you exercise?" He did doubt there was a 'care and feeding of your human' manual at the bookstore, but this was ridiculous.

Thora trotted towards him unabashedly and sniffed at shoes and trousers, taking in all of the different scents with deep, huffing breaths, because the smells were simply fascinating.

Loki would find that terribly amusing. Or possibly not. "And yet you look underfed, not well rested and .... well, I'll not harp. Only perhaps try not to die before you can get better, yes?" He pursed his mouth, considering.

He, like everyone else, had questions, of course. But Loki understood the precariousness of the situation, "Ah- about what happened. Crowley and all. If you wish to elaborate about the situation- well, it matters not if you do not wish to elaborate. Or- or if you were even in the wrong at the time."

And squinted, "Perhaps that did not come out right. We are of the same universe and he is not, that is what counts." In Loki's opinion, at least. That and Magneto had been kind when he did not have to be, in Loki's book that was major bonus points.

"Never? That seems ill conducive to mental health, I should think," Loki shrugged. "But, I only know what I hear on the Doctor Phil show." The Doctor Phil often had good points where these sorts of things were concerned, Leah discounted him and thought him a fraud, but Leah also disliked the internet, so that showed her judgement was often poor.

He was surprised at the hug and stood still for a moment, before returning it affectionately, but carefully so as not to inadvertently harm or spook Magneto. "Ever welcome and as you like," it wouldn't matter of the 'at least for a while' was never at all. "Are you always this warm? Mutant thing, perhaps? Or something with your powers?" Curiosity and also a bit of concern yet again.

"He is on the television and quite famous in Midgard, though I am rather unsure what sort of healer he is as he never seems to do much aside talk," Loki gave a half shrug. "He does not come on the television here, I checked. Pity, some could use his guidance."

Loki knew that on some level, he simply- Magneto looked smaller than normal like this, frail but not quite frail. Just. Diminished, to Loki. It was ... worrisome.

"This hot? Perhaps you are burning up all of your reserves," Loki looked dubiously at him. "Would colder conserve it?"

"Mental health, that does seem a popular trend on Midgard. Though, I am not entirely sure how one can heal that with only talking," Loki mused. Ironic in a way.

"Oh, that does seem likely," He pursed his mouth. "Well, I suppose so long as it is not detrimental. You are a doctor in a way, too, yes? So you should know these sorts of things yourself." Only he was feeling like fussing over him a bit. Magneto looked as though he needed all the fussing.

"Can it? How? That seems odd," Loki was used to people eating constantly and a lot. Food was a heavy social thing back home. "Perhaps you should try the eggs of Cadbury. Youko tells me they are full of fat. Personally, I think they are more of a food group. A... protein....milk sort of food group."

They did two things on Asgard: meat and sweets. The end. Show over.

"How can you not be fond of candy? I suppose then, you are not fond of Red Bull either? Personally, I find it most helpful- though in your current state, perhaps not," Because Cadbury Eggs are food of the gods. He has declared it so.

"What associations does it have, then?" Because he was ever curious and liked to have a more thorough portrait of people in his mind.

For practical reasons.

"Allowing someone to hurt oneself for candy?" He scoffed. "I hardly doubt many would be fooled by that." Even children. Though the Aesir children were a little stupid, in his opinion.

Usually Loki liked to find those tender spots and press them like a sadist with a sunburn, but since it was Magneto, he backed off from that, "Oh? That would be fun. Things fully conjured never seem to taste the same."
