Who: Saïx and YOU
When: Mid-afternoon
Where: Streets! He can be pretty much anywhere in town.
Summary: Saïx has a new rottweiler puppy. It requires daily exercise. Unfortunately, said dog is perhaps a bit too energetic an excited to be out and about.
Warnings: Saix being a bit annoyed at everything ever.
It's rare Saïx leaves his apartment. But he's going to have to do so a few times a day from now on. Especially if this current walk is how the poor thing he's walking will behave every time he doesn't take her out three times a day at least. Of course, the thing he's walking happens to be a rottweiler puppy, and he is trying to keep the excited girl down.
"Fiona. Heel."
However, as Fiona doesn't yet know the command, she doesn't listen. This is going to be a long walk...

But bleary eyed, he's realized mid attempted 3pm breakfast that the Apartment That Never Was is all out of milk.
Since some cereal 's just no good without the appropriate bath of milk he finds himself skulking off drowsily to the corner store for a new carton.
On the way, he's assaulted by a rottweiler puppy.
Joe does the only appropriate thing for this situation, without immediately taking note of the owner- steps just out of the leashed dog's range, and sticks his tounge out at it.

"I would quite prefer you not antagonize my dog."
It's stated bluntly and with little attempt at anything besides annoyance. He doesn't like Replicas at the best of times--they're imperfect tools that never learned their place. So he doesn't want to deal with this right this second.

"Yeah yeah, sorry-" He mutters with a roll of his eyes, ruffling the dog quick between the ears before pulling his hand back and continuing on his way, giving a careless shrug.
Shame their apartment was already a cat apartment. Having a dog would be cool.

Well, what they don't know won't hurt them; Jeremy can guard the door.
The weather is nice today, even if it's cloudy, so Axel is seated on the low wall outside a sandwich shop with a soda beside him and half a panini in his hand. It's nice to get away from that desk for a while and do some people-watching. People still amuse and fascinate him; they really never cease to defy logic and reason. Like the woman insisting she doesn't need help carrying too many bags of groceries--oops! And there they go, tumbling to the sidewalk. And the young man who obviously doesn't really smoke and just does it because he thinks it makes him look cooler--nice coughing fit.
And the... guy with the familiar blue hair in a ridiculous duck-butt 'do walking a dog.
--Wait.
He takes a bite of his sandwich and tilts his head at Saïx as the other man approaches, leaning back on one hand. He's always known Saïx liked dogs, but this is an unexpected scene.
"Dogsitting?" he asks, his mouth still full of sandwich.

"She's mine. Fiona," he states simply, keeping a firm grip on the leash. If he doesn't, she'll probably break loose and be all over Axel and his lunch. Axel probably wouldn't like that.

Then he closes his jaw and takes a long sip of his soda before regarding the puppy briefly. His eyes swing back up to Saïx then and he gives him a look that's something amid touched and absolutely incredulous.
"You... named your dog Fiona?"
Of all the names in all the worlds in every universe he could potentially fathom, Axel would never have supposed he would name his dog that.
Fiona had been his--Axel's... Lea's--mother's name.

"Yes. Is something wrong with that name?"
There's a slight smirk to his features as he watches the dog as she sniffs at Axel's feet. Thankfully, that's all she's doing.

"No. No, there's... nothing wrong with that name at all." He almost sounds indignant, as if the mere idea that there's something sub-par about his mother's name is insulting. He peers sidelong at Saïx a moment and then looks down at the dog. Fiona.
He's never really thought Saïx was sentimental--hell, Saïx was deadpan and emotionless if he was anything. Even Isa had always been pragmatic to a fault, so this had caught Axel completely off-guard. Axel hasn't thought about his mother in a long time, and to be reminded like this...
He clears his throat again, thumping his chest once more and then leaning forward to meet the puppy's eyes. She's stocky and squat, with large inky eyes and a big eager smile on her face. Axel glances sidelong at Saïx then.
"Doesn't look a thing like ma," he says wryly, though there's definitely a grin to be heard in his tone.
