She had to shrug, "You and me, both... Your guess is as good as mine, not a damn clue. If there was I'd have gone out and made it swallow its own teeth already."

Much to his consternation, such words led him to even more unpleasant thoughts. However, before he could permit himself to lose himself to them, he had an important matter to attend to. He needed to separate Integra and Alucard.

"Unfortunately you'll have to excuse me a moment. I have a lady to extract from your bedroom. Look after the oven while I'm gone, will you?"
