Who: Blaine Anderson ([personal profile] mediumdrip) and Amy Sorel ([personal profile] graceful_cutter)
When: January 30.
Where: The Sorel residence in some abandoned church...
What: Piano lessons.

After the piano was tuned and ready to play again, Amy pressed her fingers against the keys. The instrument sounded better now, and less flat than it was when she and her father acquired the church. She paid a fine sum to the piano tuner, who complimented the piano, which apparently was from a good brand (Bosendorfer? Bechstein?), and dismissed him.

As soon as he was gone, she turned her attention to her new teacher: a young man who looked very well-poised and could possibly charm anyone he met. Amy would have been enchanted, too, if it wasn't for the icy walls she had built around herself. Even when faced with a charming smile, she kept a cool, blank facade on-- no different from any porcelain doll. It didn't help that she also seemed to dress like one, with dainty ruffled blouses under prim pinafores. She took her seat at the piano, leaving some space for her teacher to sit beside her.

"Shall we begin?"

Blaine wasn't turned off by her cold demeanor. He was curious about the girl. If anything the fact that he didn't have to stress so hard about impressing her made him feel more comfortable. The lessons were a nice distraction from what had been going on in his life but didn't take too much of his energy.

He nodded at her questions. "First things first, have you ever taken music lessons"

"We should probably go over all of the basics then." Blaine said after a moment. He started to explain the keys and what notes they played, starting with some basic understanding of the instrument so that she would have an idea of what they were doing.
