Straightening up, Kurt smiled at Rachel, unable to keep from doing so. Despite everything, she never seemed to lose anything that was uniquely her, and he envied that. Even without all of his memories of this place, he still didn't feel like the same Kurt from home. He felt lost, stumbling. He'd never been like that before.
"Lovely," he said, sitting upright on the couch. "Let's get that settled then, and then we can begin soaking our hands. I just have warm water, unfortunately, as paraffin treatments at home aren't exactly practical."
