[He touches lightly on the ground, walking over to look over her plan.]

I'll work the hardware in after you sketch it, then?

Thank you. I'm hoping he likes it. I'm drawing everything from memory and the very few pics I have on my phone.

I have some tintypes, if you'd like them.

[Because tintypes are more stable than photographs around his powers, and those he can 'draw' from memory.]

Sure. If you don't mind me borrowing them for a few days. I've got work the next few days and I want to finish this painting before I start working on this.

[She rolls up the sketch again, and settles back to her painting.]

Is it wrong to pity Edgeworth? Because I kinda do. He sees everything so black and white, he's missing out on half the fun of being alive.

I don't bring them down tomorrow morning. I don't mind at all.

[He settles into a hover, watching.]

I would suppose not. I don't pity him - he's dangerous for how he thinks. I've seen were it leads for others.

[She frowns, still working on the painting.]

No. Pity is the right word. Because, eventually, something is going to snap him out of his black and white world and it's going to destroy him. He's... rigid, fragile, like glass spun too far out.

[She changes brushes.]

Not that I don't believe him capable of some pretty heinous acts, I do. But I think he'll shatter before he breaks like that.

I'm more concerned about what he is willing to not see until he breaks. Understand, I wouldn't want him to be broken - but I'd rather it be him than those who rely on him to protect them due to his profession.

[A glance over her shoulder.]

That's where we come in, remember? Superheroes, defending others, yada yada yada.

I'm not really a superhero.

And we can't be everywhere at once.

[A soft snort of amusement.]

You're more of a hero than you let yourself realize, Magsy. Which is probably why you don't call yourself a hero.

I'm not hero Jubilee. But you kids have a shot at being. I'm okay with that.

Ah ah ah, Magsy, not the way it works.

[A smirk, while she keeps painting.]

See, you don't get to define what is a hero to other people. So, if I decide to stick you with the label, you're stuck with it, so there.

[His mouth tics, an almost smile.]

[Smirk. She knows she's adorable.]

Queeestion... does Kenzo have access to the Danger Room? Ooor, really, can I take him down there?

[INNOCENCE.]

You can take him down there, yes.

He can't be in there alone or access it alone - same as back home.

Cool. I wouldn't leave him alone in there, anyway. With our luck, Loki would start playing with it, or Deadpool would decide he was a new playmate.

[Because this makes sense in their world.]

Neither have access to change a sim not their own. Loki cannot access it at all without one of the three of us.

[He though of that.]

When do you want it, I'll make sure everyone stays away.

That's actually comforting in a weird way.

[She shrugs.]

Dunno. Have to call him and see when he can spend the night again. Between our schedules, sometimes its hit or miss.

[And she is totally chill with this. Not that she doesn't love Kenzo, she does, but she likes that he has his life and she has hers.]

[He picks up his beer sipping at it again.]

Understandable. He and I have been trying to work out a way to get all the NCC Clinic staff together every two or three weeks for lunch or something and it just hasn't worked out yet.

Just weird in that we both automatically think this way?

[A grin over her shoulder.]

I think that's called "experience". I shocked Peter the other day when I scolded Loki.

[He laughs, having to move the bottle away from his mouth.]

I can't imagine why.

[He likes him, really.]

Why would that surprise him? You scold everyone.

[She's not surprised. At all.]

Stop it. He's afraid you're going to disapprove. It's sweet.

Because Loki listened. Clearly he doesn't understand the importance of the proper use of Dad tone.

[He scoffs, but uses a perfect Old World Yiddish accent.]

Well, don't get too high handed with the Dad tone, I still don't listen to it.

[But then, she doesn't have to. Not really. She knows when to argue and when to not... mostly.]

Try convincing him of that. I keep assuring him that you approve. After all, my last boyfriend was a mass murderer. So, ya know, step up in the world.

Part of it is knowing when to use it.

[He blames Wolverine. Of course she wouldn't respond to Dad tone.]
