Saturday the 4th // Kitchens // Open
He also looked like he had a fight with a fire pit.
While his pants had rips and burn marks in them, it was his face and arm that looked the worst. The long scar that ran down the side of his face was now red and hot as if he had leaned in too close to a fire. His nose wasn't bleeding now but it was clear that it had been not so long ago.
His right arm was soaking wet, having stuck it under the tap in the sink a few times. He had pulled off bits of his sweater, his coat laying in a half burnt pile on the floor. He absintmindly picked at bits of burnt fabric from his reddened and burnt arm, though there was no blood or blistering.
This is what he gets for playing Hero.
It was easier to just come here then to go home. He didn't have plans to stop and talk to anyone here in the HoA, but he knew where things were and he knew he was safe to sit in his home away from home and fix himself. Fix himself while kicking himself for being stupid. Three days now he watched that woman get attacked. He felt stupid now for trying to help her.
Feel free to bother him. He's not in pain; he's just really annoyed... and it shows.
/Takes opportunity
"Hey, you look like shit, dude." he says in way of greeting.
My notif box was turned off *sob*
And his sulk made him miss the masked freak as he came in. When he spoke however his head picked up, looking over at the guy with a flat expression.
"I always look like shit. This is nothing new." Only, he doesn't always look burnt. Or beaten.
no subject
He keeps working on the sandwich though, talking and doing other things was sort of his thing. He was in a pretty decent mood, he had been given a free pass to mess around and have fun for a little while, with no real consequences, as long as it didn't involve newcomers. He could get used to this, at least for a bit. It would probably get boring after awhile.

Thursday the 8th // Apartments. Her room first making her way down // Open
Youko gasped in shock, looking away from the screen of her device to glance at the direction of her bed. There atop the mattress rested the blue monkey, cackling in delight at her futile efforts.
"I thought you'll smart to forget about going home, little girl. But turns out that I overestimated your intelligence. You can't discover anything of value if you do that."
She had left homework as a late night chore to try to find out anything useful about AGI or SERO and their access to the Core. All the information in the Network seemed too complicated or simply discouraging her to act. No, not discouraging her, because she wanted to search a way back to home sooner or later.
"T...That's..."
"You can't go home, missy", he continued, "When you leave this place, you'll be back into that other world. You'll probably suffer and die if you return there. Isn't it better if you give up and stay safe here?"
Youko looked away, feeling her eyes welling up with unshed tears. She missed her home so badly, but her intuition told her that what the monstrous ape was saying was true. She had grown used to her unseen visitor. No matter how much he tormented her, he hadn't lied to her yet. And she...
I want to go home.
"Although safe is relative, as long you're befriending people like that kid. I can't believe a stupid girl like you would just trust anyone!"
"Give me a break." Youko stood up, turning away from her demonic companion to walk towards the door. Oh god, she needed to clear her head; her heart weighted wearily. "I don't want to hear it." She didn't want him to continue and tell her something irreversible. She was grateful with Loki and his friends for all the help and kindness they had displayed. I can't let him turn me against them.
"Don't complain later if you got hurt, because I warned you." She heard him say as his laughter fit grew grating on her ears. The monkey faded from sight and she shut the door of her room. Sighing in relief, Youko stared at the exit of the apartment and tentatively walked outside.
It had passed a while since the explosions of the Starter Apartments, but the shock and her own timid nature made her politely withdraw herself in her room. She hadn't had many chances to see the house Loki had brought her in during those upsetting events. Nor she had spoken with many people. The prospect of a conversation terrified her. She had no idea what did her hosts and fellow guests expected from her.
(ooc; Notice that the monkey is only seen and heard by Youko, he's like a manifestation of her repressed subconscious).
Re: Thursday the 8th // Apartments. Her room first making her way down // Open
He was joking. Mostly.
"What are you doing, anyway? I think you've been cooped up here for too long, that's the problem. You need to get out and -ah- experience!" Loki nodded vigorously. More like, he was bored and Youko was the most convenient target at the moment. "Let's do something, yes?"
no subject
"Huh? I was just using the device," she lied with a perfectly straight face. "Someone was after my case with texting and I didn't feel like typing." She groaned at the effort. It was perfectly normal she told this person off, in other words.
She nodded, rubbing the back of her head. "I..." she thought about it, "I feel guilty because I stayed here without paying and I was hoping I could cook dinner or make a chore for our hosts." She blinked when he volunteered. "Are you going to help me?"
no subject
And if this made Youko feel better, well, why not? And he had very little else to do, really.

Monday the 13th / all over the HoA / open
She scrounged for food, ate as she walked and went over things in her mind.
Jubilee was all over the place doing all sorts of things and open to be bothered by anyone wanting to talk to her.
no subject
Seeing Jubilee all over the place was pretty different though. She was in the kitchen sitting down with a bag of candy hearts when she caught Jubilee running around.
"Somebody fall down a well?"
no subject
"What?" She asked, dropping her bag on the floor next to her. She pulled out a piece of golden-copper colored cloth and began working a design around the bottom hem. "How you don' Ro?"

[Monday, February 13th | Kitchen, elsewhere | Open!]
Crowley's massive invisible hellhound, Growley, was at the side the entire time, watching curiously. Castiel tended to spoil her, after all, so while she was taking her job of guarding him very seriously she also was pretty sure she might get a treat out of this.
Saturday, February 18th: garage Magneto first, then open
Well, Michael had warned her.
She hitched her bag over her shoulder and raised her hand to hit the doorbell and looked down at a soft clatter. "You are a pain in the tail, you know that?" The stick just sat there and was... stick like.
She picked it up and shook her head, then rang the doorbell. Irritating damned piece of Fae wood.
garage bit!
"Hello my dear. Come in."
The walls had fresh plaster and paint of them, some places still scuffed. Sam had made quite a mess before he had been able to throw him into a void space.

What started her sneezing, though, was the prevalence of magic. It made her hackles stand up and she had to cautiously look down at herself to make sure she didn't have hackles.
Finally, she managed to sniff to a halt. "Sorry." She cleared her throat. "So, the garage?"

The evening of the 16th.
He's true to his word, though, and gathers up Blaine's things, organizing them into different sections and packing them neatly into several bags. When he reaches for the penguin stuffed animal he hesitates, then packs that too. Blaine needs it to sleep, he thinks, and starts to cry again.
He arrives at the HoA before the sirens go off, and knocks at the door with the neat little packages in tow. Included is a little card he'd made, that he'd slid in between Blaine's clothes.]
Danger Room 2/21 Jubes/Pool
Enter one Wade Wilson AKA The Merc With A Mouth. Logan had often lamented that Deadpool got better. Well, she was about to take advantage of that. Because, seriously, she needed it.
Her fingers crackled with her powers as the room dissolved into a cityscape familiar to both of them.]
God I miss New York. Ready?
no subject
He had lived in New York before, fought in it plenty of times, and there was always more to discover. ]
I was born ready... or like small and pink at five pounds four ounces or whatever. So I've been ready for a fairly reasonable amount of time I guess, I'd say at least seventy five percent, maybe eighty.
no subject
Well, you see, I brought along a few old friends of ours...
[She pointed down the street. Sabretooth. Always a fun time. Then, she jerked her finger upwards. The Hulk.
She wanted violence. And if nothing else, they'd give them a run for the money...]
Ready?
Ah html fail.

Jubes' flat, Jubes/Mags, 2/20 during the Edgeworth convo.
In the sewing room!
[Which was being turned into an art studio of all sorts, really.]
Thanks.
[She opens the beer and sips it, turning back to her painting.]
Still arguing with him?
Re: Jubes' flat, Jubes/Mags, 2/20 during the Edgeworth convo.
[He pops the top off his, playing with the cap.]
Yes. Stupid child.

2.24 - Mags/Hitsu/whoever wants to crash - making holy water ice
If he was willing to help, Magneto was going to make full use of it.
no subject
The trip was a quick one, and he found Xavier in the kitchen preparing the water. Rather a lot of it. Which was fine; cold was his reiatsu's natural manifestation. It hardly took any energy at all.
"Xavier. Do you have the reference?" Right to business, as usual.
no subject
He motioned at the salt. "I was wondering how hard you could freeze salt water?"
