Summary: Jubes got hurt bad. Some people aren't happy with others.

((Ok so here's what we're going to do. There's two threads - 21st-30th and 31st to the 7th. The first thread, Jubes is in a coma. So if you want to come bug Magneto or talk to a comatose Jubilee, use that. If you want to talk to her, she'll be coming out of it on the 30th - Mags will be ESPECIALLY protective that day, so short visits, but the second thread covers more visit time. K?))

[Blaine shows up, he's still a little skittish about leaving Kurt, but his boyfriend has things he needs to do too. At least being around these people manages to calm him down.

He brings some flowers for Jubilee, bright and colorful.]

[She saw him come in. She's trying to rest as much as having a party will let her, but she's so glad to see some people. Blaine is one of them.]

B-B-Blaine?

[He's almost as jittery as she is, and she's been dosed with something.]

Hey. How are you?

[He moves closer, offering the flowers.]

[She shrugs and waves to the cushy chair, along with the various medical stuff that is attached to her in so many ways. She'll be fine. Eventually.

Trembling hands reach out and take the flowers. She smiles.]

P-P-p-pretty, thanks.

[She holds the flowers and waves at a seat near by.]

Y-y-you okay?

I'm better now that Kurt's home. [He presses his lips together.] Think I can give you a hug? Or is that going to hurt you?

[Blink. She manages to cock her head to the side, looking the question she can't really ask.]

H-h-hugs okay.

[Because if Magneto tried to deny her hugs? He wouldn't last long.]

[Blaine leans down to give her a gentle hug then and pulls away.]

Happy birthday.

[She smiles, but she's still worried.]

W-w-w-where he g-g-g-go?

[He meaning Kurt. She'd thought their relationship was getting better.]

[Blaine sat down and frowned.] He was one of the group that was taken.

He's back home with me. We're living with Tim and Connor now.

[She tries to scowl, but the muscles just won't cooperate. She sighs in frustration.]

T-t-t-taken?

[She hasn't, exactly, been up on latest news.]

[He nods] A group of people. They were kidnapped. Something horrible happened, but Kurt isn't telling me much. I don't want to push him.

[Ooooh. Things people have not been telling her. She doesn't like that. She's not HELPLESS!]

C-c-companies?

[mediumdrip]

I don't know... [Blaine shifts slightly] Look, it's your birthday, and I've been stressing out about this enough. Maybe we can talk about something else? [He doesn't want to shut her out, but this is upsetting him. She can probably see that in his eyes.]


How is your recovery going?

[Trembling fingers reach out and she gently touched his hand. She ignores the lines and tubes taped along her arms.

Instead of saying anything, she just gives him a rather sardonic look and then flicks her fingers at the tubes and wires, and machines.]

[Blaine gives her a grateful look at the touch.]

Is there anything you need? I know Michael will be taking care of you, but if there's anything I can get for you, I'm here.

P-p-p-pizza and b-b-beer.

[She manages to say it with a straight face.]

[Blaine smiles] If I can figure out a way to sneak it in...

L-l-loki and P-p-p-pool.

[Those two were always up for mischief. They'd sneak her in things he'd regret eating.]

[mediumdrip]

[He smiled a bit.] Yeah, I pass the word onto them if they don't know already.

[That got a weak smile from her. Her fingers flutter against his hand again. She knows he wants to go hover over the boyfriend, but she's glad he came anyway.]

Anything else g-g-g-going on?

Mm. Not really. Life has been a whirlwind here...

[She points a shaking finger at Magneto.]

H-h-h-hides st-st-stuff fr-from m-m-me.

[Because she can't handle it. Except, if she finds out about it later, she gets angry and that doesn't help either.]

He worries.

[thelittlestbub]

[Jubilee wants to tick up her eyebrow in a 'I don't?' kind of way, but it doesn't work. Instead, she just looks pained for a minute. Then she sighs.]

M-m-me too.

[He's not the only one who has taken on the responsibility for the people in this house. She has too.]
